Guest Posted January 25, 2025 Posted January 25, 2025 So, I just noticed i have a follower on here (they're anonymous so I don't think others will be able to see it). Kind of weird as I don't post any mods or anything, just sometimes tech support stuff or general discussion posts, and haven't done much of that. Weirder to me is that they have absolutely no activity on the site, or at least it's not visible. Probably extreme, but I wanted to block them as it kinda creeps me out, but there doesn't seem to be a way to do this? I know on the forum I can hover over a person's avatar and select "ignore", which I assume works like a block function, but because this user has no activity on he site, including no posts, I can't try that, and I see no option to block when looking at their profile. Is this simply not possible on this site, or am I missing something? And if it's not possible, why not? Thanks in advance.
davisev5225 Posted January 25, 2025 Posted January 25, 2025 It's a bot that managed to register an account and scraped names from the "currently online" list. Nothing you can do about it, but it's not actually going to harm you in any way either.
Simpossible_xx Posted January 25, 2025 Posted January 25, 2025 Probably not possible, because it never was an issue I guess. Â If they try to interact with you in any way, the Ignore function got you covered.
Gukahn Posted January 25, 2025 Posted January 25, 2025 Or disable the function that people can follow you in the first place 🤔 You can find that right next to the follow list Â
