Hello, first time deep diving into Skyrim modding. I keep receiving this error when running FNIS, any recommendations on how to resolve?

means that FNIS encountered a mod that isn't made for, isn't compatible with Skyrim SE. Often via an LE mod being accidentally installed instead of its SE version (if one even exists)

 

Might be complicated by the SE/AE split idk, but that's where I've seen them in the past.

 

The resolution is therefore to replace Defeat (LE) with the SE or SE compatible version.
