CTD after Bethesda Logo

Hello,

 

I need urgent help with a problem of mine. So, i just added a few mods ( Improved Combat Sounds, Realistic Crime Radius, "SMooth blades draw and sheathe", "Realistic Ragdolls and force" AND new archery animation) to my skyrim and i start getting CTDs after bethesda logo. Everything was going smooth untill i add those mods- I've checked 1by1  disabling them to see if any of those might be causing crash but still i'm getting crashes. 

 

I guess one of those new added mods changed some sort of file or column somewhere in my skyrim folder and now i can't get my SKyrim running.

 

Any help would appriciated.

well, i dont know many of your mods. what i know for sure is that if stuff was running smooth before, there are 2 options. either the mods dont like each other, OR sth got wasted of your skyrim installation.

 

my advice: reinstall skyrim with your mods as it was and either add the problematic mods one by one, or simply leave them. and now the ultimate tip: look up for your savegames, and make a backup copy of those. like that you can simply copy them back after the reinstallation, like that you lose a night of time but no progress.

 

hope this helps, but maybe someone else knows of imcompatibility issues with your setup.

 

(yeah, i know why i always make custom textures for my mods based on regular textures from ingame stuff... saves lots of trouble and makes your stuff 100% working no matter what )

Try downloading BOSS and see if you have any mods that are incompatible of the new mods you downloaded.  I think you may also want to download and run FNIS to see if that gets it working.

I found the problem, i think it was SkyRe's "ReProccer" which needs to be updated for every single mod that use. I didn't updated, because i thought animations and sounds don't have anything to do with T3nd0's SkyRe. I was wrong

When I got that CTD, it meant that a mod I had installed had a dependency on another thing. In my case, it was certain adult-themed mods depending on Dawnguard. I caved and bought it (though would still like to bite the damn modders' heads off for not thinking of basegame players, especially with the recent sale).

 

Dawnguard seems to have solved all of my issues.. well.. at least CTD ones.

reproccer needs to be updated every time you add a mod, just in case. CTD's after beth logo usually means that there's a master missing or in the wrong order.

 

also get the "all-in-one SkyRe Reproccer patches by qotsafan" http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/29375/? if you don't have it, install it, and run the reproccer again. my advice is to do it, run BOSS, and then run the reproccer in no-boss mode. I don't trust the BOSS mode of reproccer.
