Follower is Borrowing Your Keys - some devious device mod

What Devious Device mod is doing this. There is a problem with it. Once the follower takes your keys, you cannot see it in their inventory. If they get bound, you can't free them. I don't think even a regular npc let alone blacksmith can free them, so what are you supposed to do?

It's supposed to run for a certain time that's adjustable in the MCM - unfortunately, from what I read in the description, the SE version has none of the LE bugs fixed. Sometimes it triggers for release, most of the times not. Taking your keys might, in rare cases, be the foreplay to bound time when you're still in a dungeon and the mods waits for you to get to an allowed area. Most of the times it's just a bug, and you need to reset the mod state in the MCM (I think it's the system page, haven't currently installed it.)

After resetting, you either get your keys back automatically, or have to tick that in the MCM too.

 

Edit: as an afterthought: SubLola and DFC also have options that your follower takes your keys, but the wording points to DDH
