@sxtxxlines you added a  4000x7000 140 MB preview image.

It'd be nice if you could keep it small, usually 2 MB are fine for TS4 images. More details are usually hard to notice while playing TS4.

 

 

PS: Rendered in Blender it may look much better than it does look in-game and many sim and/or creators show blender images. Sometimes the content looks disappointing in TS4.
A CAS screenshot of the sim would be nice. Even though it is not the best advertising for the sim it is not 'false' advertising.

Hello! Thank you for your recommendations, but I like to include my renders in their highest resolution so that people with good displays can enjoy a beautiful render.
I invite you to download one of my Sims and see it personally in your game; trust me, they look exactly the same.
About adding a screenshot of the Sim in CAS, there are already six CAS screenshots combined into a single image(the last of the 3). I don’t use Reshade or anything like that so people can see how my Sims look in the base game.

Don't get me wrong, providing HQ content is really nice. While I'd prefer them in the file downloads so I can decide to download them if i need them (similar to animation previews).

Of course I may try to remember not to click any of the images you provide and solve the issue like this.
 

I don't know which kind of internet connection you have. But when I want to look at the images I expect them to load and show immediately. Waiting 10 seconds to load and show them and my browse allocating a lot of memory is not what I expect. This might crash browsers on mobile devices which have limited memory. Not to mention the bandwidth used.
Even though you are the mod creator and can upload the content like this I hope you also think of other users with 'out-dated' hardware.

In any case, many thanks for uploading sims.
 

The grey hair in the provided HQ image looks weird with many fragments. In-game it looks much smoother but the transparency is mostly gone. I needed the tripod to get a close-up of the face. While I will likely never do a close-up of this sim again.
PS: Taking an in-game photo with the tripod should save a detailed FullHQ 1.7 MB (or 2K or 4K) image to 'Screenshots'. Using it could save some time to setup the sim in Blender.


In case one read until here and didn't download the sim: Download it, it really looks good in-game.

Thank you very much for your suggestions! I think the idea of adding the render in its highest quality as a download is great! And you're right that it takes a few seconds for the image to fully load, and I should also consider people with slower internet connections.

Yes, what you mentioned about the gray hair in the HQ image is true; it's a problem I still don’t know how to solve in Blender when hair looks strange. And yes, in the game, the hair actually looks even better than in the renders, unfortunately.

Hey yall seems your new here your work is really good, my first stuff wasn't nearly as fancy. Quick tip from one creator to another, using a rar compressor or something like the Sims File Share allows you to put everything into one or two files rather than five individual ones. Believe me I did the same thing years ago when I started but those tools helped make it easier. The file limit on here is annoying I know but keep it up your sims are good.

So i have a question - would you take requests/commisions for a Sims with your quality? I´m really not good in CAS and so i would love to have a Sim in this kind of quality^^" It would be about a Male Sims with a special Hair CC.

Hello! Thank you so much for your comment, I really appreciate it. At the moment, I don’t have a Request Tier, but I’ll definitely add one soon since I’ve received more requests besides yours. I’d recommend joining my Patreon for free so you can stay updated on when I open the Request Tier, as it will have limited slots because creating custom Sims takes time. Thank you for your support💜
