XxBloodMagicxX Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 So I am trying to fix these seams. To sum things up the UNP Texture Blender did not work nor did Alt Navetsea UNP Seamless. Now, it very well could be that I am installing it wrong however I use NMM, sad that I am still having issues. Anyway, thank you everyone for the help, no rush.
gerra6 Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 Well, if you can manage to import the bodies into Blender (no simple task), you can run Seam Mender (available in modders resources) on the body (both the 0 and 1). That will eliminate any seams due to vert, weight, or vertex normal issues. I'm working on a stand-alone version of Seam Mender, but this means I'm poking around in the pyffi library for the first time, so no idea how long it will be before I have something releasable.

Hey it's no problem at all! And yes I gave up on the Blender only because I did more digging and found out (Correct me if I am wrong) that most UNP Bodies have seams and no good or easy means to fixing it. Also, thank you for the response.
gerra6 Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 Well, grab this http://www.loverslab.com/topic/10179-blender-script-seam-mender-version-14-updated-10122012/ And the True Normals patch linked in that post. Just import the head and the bodies, hands, feet, etc. Use the head mesh as the target (you don't want to modify the head) and let seam mender work its magic. Quick, easy, painless. Note, it won't fix texture issues, but will fix any physical mesh seam issues, including Normals which are otherwise extremely difficult to fix (and sometimes impossible) Now, importing and exporting Skyrim stuff into Blender...not so painless. I should mention, I've just started coding a stand-alone pyffi dependent version of Seam Mender. We'll see how it goes, but with luck, sometime in the next week or so it *might* be possible to just fix seams without having to import them at all.

Dallas-Arbiter Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 It's the sk.dds textures. I had the exact same problem. In a moment of desperation, I decided to try editing the femalebody_1_sk.dds. I turned it solid pink (no features at all). To make it match with the femalehead_sk.dds, I simply made a copy of the body sk, and renamed it femalehead_sk.dds. Problem solved.

Hopefully I can fix this... Edit: Fixed! I typed something incorrectly.

Still has the seam. For example Seran's Seam is less noticeable.
Taskmaster Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 Try the same thing for femaleheadvampire_sk
