Depending on how you mod the game. Actually replacing files could get you banned. Also posting images displaying your UID could get you reported

Realistically, you won't get banned from using 3dmigoto to only do cosmetic mods (and not putting 3dmigoto folder in the game folder just to be safe). The mod itself doesn't mess with the game files so no real risk to be taken.

 

The only real risk from banning is from using mods that mess with game files, like cheats or fps unlocking stuff, or you're dumb enough to show the modded game screen with UID attached like a free real estate. GFL2 is safer in that regard since it doesn't always show UID on screen like all those MHY games and their clones.

 

I've been playing 3 games using this same modding method and didn't get ban to this day.

 

Be noted that not that there is a zero risk involved. You're not playing the game as intended so that's a given, but it's very unlikely to happen.

Did you try different stages ? I noticed that there is a stage ( the one where you fight the crazy flamethrower dude in Supply farming mode ) that will tank my FPS no matter what.

I did it in the twin bosses fight. Might be a problem with big maps I guess?

I have no idea what I'm doing wrong but the mods won't work. It says target process found but it doesn't have the usual 3dmigoto at the bottom and the mods don't load.

You might have to d3dx.ini and change the target path. After I changed it, it started to work.

Never mind I fixed it. I was just missing a single \ between the C and Games in the target.

Ignore the skin color, I was testing something and needed obvious colors to show the change.

Trying to put some basic art skills to work, so I drew a bow to see how it looks. Someone who's REALLY good can take these mods really far.

You can also remove the fur at the bottom of the skirt I forgot the IB but it is possible

Ye, I did that after posting, so it doesn't look weird now. I really want to figure out how to fix the gap between the two belts and how to edit the faces. For some reason, I can't extract the head/face or hair and many other parts. But I can extract parts of the walls in the refitting room.
