Game A Little Broken After Life & Death?

I know TS4 has its issues and is bugged to hell, but ever since downloading L&D I've noticed my game is seriously lagging.  Groups of Sims will just stand idle, issuing orders to my Sims takes forever with most of them then been cancelled, trying to open the phone or menus takes forever and often the first time the commands don't even register, and sometimes when trying to pause the game nothing happens so I have to click pause over and over again before anything happens.

 

Anyone else been having these issues?  Any options for how to sort it?

I've been having similar issues. No idea how to solve, but just thought I'd point out that it isn't just you.

 

I have no idea what's causing it, either. There are times when I'll click a sim and it takes like 10-20 seconds for the menu to appear.

Good to know I'm not alone with this at least.  Hopefully whatever it is will be sorted with a future patch.

Same here...it takes forever...I wonder what a new patch might break this time?

I crash often in the new map, especially when leaving or entering it.

Simulation lag, and it's social bunny that is causing it. Turbo has a mod for it now. I have it in my game. Prior to that, it was impossible for me to go to public lots like festivals or geek con without the game lagging like crazy.
