Captures equips it's own simple devices if none were present, or gets whatever was equipped beforehand. 🙂

 

iirc, Practical Defeat could equip a bunch of DD's stuff as a different "release" outcome, so it won't affect the simple capture one, as it's either one or the other.

But Captures will retain whatever was equipped as a part of PD's "Pre-Events" or something like that in the MCM.

Does this work fine with multiple followers? I have been testing the latest version out and the screen cuts to black at the end but everything is going on as normal in the background and I can hear the attackers getting hostile again and attacking me and my followers.

I know a bit off topic but you should look at Battle Fuck, it is one of the best defeat mods but sadly the animations it uses are mostly old from Leito and its kinda buggy but it is very interactive.

I have several animation packs installed (Leito, Billyy and FluffyFox mostly), but for some reason Practical Defeat plays only Billyy_HumanLesbianDD animations
Any way to somehow force mod to get other animation packs/Tags?

I'm trying to get futa npc on female player rape to work, but the animation tag filtering doesn't seem to be working correctly. Despite having tons of animations, with merely "aggressive, -sextoy" female aggressors have 0 results.

same. Other versions of this mod didn't have this problem

"Other" like which ones? 
Or you mean "Defeat mods" as in common?

This mod only includes events that occur when the player is defeated by an NPC.
There are cases where followers are attacked if there are multiple enemies at the time of defeat, or if the gender combination of the player and NPC is not valid, but the trigger is ultimately the player's defeat.
If you want to trigger defeat events between NPCs, it is better to use a different mod.

Yamete or standard defeat.

Yamete is compatible with Acheron and practical defeat

So unfortunately Simple Events (linked in the main page) does not work.

 

Bukakke/Spanking/Makeover events will register but not actually start (argument mismatch because of changed plugin API)

 

Anyways, because I really liked those outcomes I fixed it.

Vortex is telling me that Practical Defeat 0.4.9 is incompatible with ZaZ Animation Pack CBBE HDT V8.0 SE2023

 

There is conflict with six dds files (looks like rope textures), but I don't think that's it... it's just a texture conflict.

 

Any thoughts on what it could be?

Sorry for the late reply but i don't know. I think I have an old version of practical defeat, I just don't know which version it is. I just switched over to naked defeat instead since I couldn't get this one working

Ponzi used a couple of ZAP's items, so he made copies of those textures to avoid a dependency. Should be harmless 🙂

Just updated to 0.4.9 from 0.4.8 using Vortex and didn't get any issues with incompatibilities, just the same rope conflict. I'm using 

ZaZ Animation Pack+ CBBE HDT V.8.0+SEREV3 but I doubt that's what's causing it.

 

If you have a mod rule of "never together with" instead of "before" or "after", that will show up. Other than that maybe Vortex is just being weird, I'd try disabling ZAZ/PD, restarting Vortex and enabling them again to see if it fixes itself.

That was the hint I needed, thank you!

 

For some inexplicable reason it was marked "never together with"... I guess my finger must've slipped or something (that or gremlins). I had no idea.

 

But I fixed it now :)
