Wiwilotta Posted October 27, 2024 Posted October 27, 2024 Is there any mods that add a variety of very short haircuts for women? Not like pixies or just bobs, but with shaved sides, visible undercuts, buzzcuts etc KS / HG / other big and popular hairpacks are of course known to me. Also maybe there is mods that can add tattoos on head skin, could not find any, only face tattoos
RomeoZero Posted October 27, 2024 Posted October 27, 2024 in any hair mod some buzzcut hair variations are present. Only mod screeshots can help.
Wiwilotta Posted November 9, 2024 Author Posted November 9, 2024 Maybe someone has a custom compilation of this kind of short hairstyles from big packs and can share link here?

Yeah, of course, thanks for suggesting. Dint's pack is also a part of YPS Fashion which I use for it's amazing hair system, and overall collection of styles is great, but I'm looking for making a collection of specifically short and unusual styles as I said in main text up the thread
belegost Posted December 1, 2024 Posted December 1, 2024 (edited) SG Hair has a bunch. But most of them are stuff taken from other hair mods and repacked, so they might duplicate what you already have. saLa Hair also has some. Its relatively small compared to some behemoths out there, is probably the only one that has more short/short-ish variants than long. 6 hours ago, Wiwilotta said: I'm looking for making a collection of specifically short and unusual styles As in, all short styles, pulled out and placed in one mod? I might be interested in something like this myself, should you ever decide to create a mod out of it. Edited December 1, 2024 by belegost

Well, maybe one day pulled out and placed in one mod, but only if there will be enough to compile into so said mod, at least like 50 styles But for now there is just no styles anywhere I was searching. Here's examples, first from saLa Hair, which is not that I need, not goes to my definition of "short", another two from Valkyr Hairstyles, which is better, but could be way shorter for first one Best key scenario I see is someone enthusiastic and capable of modeling hair for skyrim founds this post and models own pack like Dint's or KS Hairdos but for ultra short female styles Edited December 3, 2024 by Wiwilotta
Wiwilotta Posted December 3, 2024 Author Posted December 3, 2024 (edited) For now what I did myself is configured YPS's JSON files to use only short and SMP styles of all packs it uses. (So there should not be any non SMP long styles, if I did all correctly, in which I'm not sure, but seems to be working in game) Archive added if anyone interested. Unpack to \YPS\SKSE\Plugins\ypsFashion I use FULL SE VERSION Yeah, YPS is op mod for hairstyling, so check this out whoever reads: ypsFashion.zip Edited December 7, 2024 by Wiwilotta 3

If you spot some hairstyles that are wrongly configured, please let me know, so I can correct them in the main mod as well.

So some was really put in wrong groups, some was jsut all duplicated in every group, but it was mod that I don't use so can't really remember the name, but fixed it too I think "Wrongs" mostly was in 6th and 7th stages in all mods, where marked 6 was too long for chin and 7 was too long neck. Also in both stages was a lot of marked standard but rather belong in permed. I think my json pack can be added to main files if you want, since I erased only non-smp long styles, so stages system shouldn't be broken really. If you'll do call it something like "Wiw's hard-trimm update" Also, @emily1673, is there any way to add more categories? Let's say there's a style which is clearly permed almost afro level of curlyinss, but also the style has a buzzed nape or even 360° undercut which is in your system should be considered broad mohawk. So, what to do?

So, what to do? Yes, I noticed that there were some errors. Will try to fix this. More categories would of course be very nice, but it is very risky business, because the hair system is very complex and it would be easy to break something. Another thing: In your zip file you should only include the hair jsons, and remove the rest (ypsData, ypsItems, ypsBodymorphs, ypsProfessionalNails, ypsBimboNails, ypsNames...), as this may cause serious issues when updating the mod.

Understood, will remove those soon. Is there any guide of yours how to add new categories? There was something in hairdata, but I don't really understand 1
