Hey so... the mod hardly ever kicks out events for me, even on the highest setting for it. I've played like 6 games and only got one event (for a ground battle). Is that normal?

Yes this is normal. The mod doesn't have many events implemented yet due to stalled development. 

I plan to add more but I am not a coder and our primary coder left the project, though we are actively looking to replace them and begin updates once more.

Damn that's a shame. When I saw a lack of a video feed with Shard, and a missing option (;3), I was like "missed opportunity there" but that makes since. I really hope you find someone

The issue is now fed in the git, and should be uploaded here

also i figure ill let you know since its been bugging me since i noticed, the portraits for ponies, female mice, & most of the kobold portraits are stretched horizontally, this may be an issue on my end, if so is there a way to fix it?

also the 12th male mice portrait is rather drastically oversized, with most of it being off-screen

This is due to how the images were made. In a future update i plan to replace these with newer and better images

quick question, could we ever have a placeholder humanoid character (even just one or two portraits of the generic human) to play this with non-furries?

Personally i very much DON'T like Human preds. No matter the art style it triggers uncanny valley for me and makes me feel weird, BUT if there is enough desired for it i will add it despite my preferences. The reason it hasn't been added is due to this being a passion project up to this point.

I notice that the vg_specialist_subject_type.txt is unfinished with incomplete lines like: preferred_ethic = ethic_

Not sure if this has been updated to the most recent patches, but the issue has returned. The origin gives the prosperous unification dialogue and no leader bonuses. Also, what sort of experience would you like for the available position?

I've been away from Stellaris for a while. It's neat to see there's a replacement for Apex Xenos finally. That said I'm disappointed by the use of AI generated graphics. It seems to remain a consistent source of sourness for Stellaris modding still.

That said, I do approve of the granularity of the event stuff you got cooked up for how you can enable or disable specific vore types and features.

Also, uh, the mod seems to entirely break machine empires? It's impossible to pick the machine intelligence authority because the required archetype was changed from MACHINE to VOREMACHINE without a way to make your archetype into VOREMACHINE.

Yeah well I am upfront about AI use. I am not an artist and to not use ai would mean commissioning an artist or yoinking the art without permission (Which is worse imo). And to commission enough art JUST to replace all the AI pieces Currently in the mod would be around $4k-8k  or more. So while I DO want to replace the AI content, unless an artist agrees to contribute art to the mod, then it will remain with ai until such a time that i have the extra income to pay an artist.

And yeah the menu was to as a means to allow customization as more and more events get added (Which will be the main focus after this next update)

I believe this is fixed in the update that will be public in around a month or 2 after it has been finished
