Limit amount/load of aminations? Is like Skyrim?

As the title says.

In Sims 4 is there a limit, or any sort, to the amount of animations I can load in the game?

At what point do things start getting wonky?

TIA!

From my personal experience and what I've gathered around here, things will never really get wonky - unless perhaps you have like 20k animations or something, I never went that far or heard about anyone that did. Depending on your machine, the amount of animations can maybe slow down the game a bit when launching it (as the game loads all mod files) and/or when loading into a lot for the first time after launching the game (as WW becomes fully active and shows its notification about how many animations you have).

I have about 6k animations ATM and everything runs smoothly for me, about 10k made my game a bit slower during launch (so the game itself was to blame) in the past, but my PC is more of a mid-level performance machine and already a couple of years old.

Rule of thumb: If your game starts to go slow on you during launch and/or first load, maybe think about going through your Mods folder and throwing out everything you don't really need (especially aniations and custom clothing stuff). Until then, don't worry about it.
