marquis1438 Posted October 20, 2024 Posted October 20, 2024 (edited) I'm having this glitch where my dancers are wearing random accessories that I haven't assigned to them. For example, I assigned one of my bartenders lingerie, and she's wearing the lingerie but shes also wearing a random shall accessory with it? Same thing for my dancers, they are wearing the underwear I assigned, but also some random hat that I didn't assign! What could be causing this issue? Edited October 20, 2024 by marquis1438
Crashdown117 Posted October 20, 2024 Posted October 20, 2024 That is weird indeed. Have you already checked the individual Sims' working outfits (not the ones you set as uniforms for your business, the ones they actually wear)? You can do it by bringing up the in-game console (Ctrl+Shift+C) and entering sims.modify_career_outfit_in_cas, while having one of your affected Sims selected as active. Alternatively, if you have MCCC installed, you can click on any Sim > Sim commands > Edit career outfit in CAS, leading to the same results, but allowing you to edit all employee Sims quickly without the need for switching households. If their career outfits also have those weird items added when viewing them in CAS, simply remove them and keep an eye on whether they reappear. If those weird items are not present in CAS or they keep reappering, you're probably dealing with broken pieces of CC, which you can try to fix (requires a little bit of knowledge about using Sims 4 Studio) or simply remove from your game to prevent them from messing up more outfits (removing them from the game will also remove them from all Sim outfts, of course). If you don't know which file(s) contain(s) those items, you'll need to 50/50 through your mods to find them. If you need a guide on how to do this, I've always found this one to be helpful - it's for general troubleshooting using MCCC, but you can just add WW to your "minimal setup" in the beginning and then follow the same basic steps to fix your strip club outfits.

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. I'm going to try everything you suggested and see what happens! There are also random townies on the lot that were wearing the same hat too and it only happens with strip clubs so I'm sure its conflicting cc somewhere in my game. Last night I deleted that hat--and the townies/strippers that was wearing that hat was wearing something else... If I come up with a solution I will post it here in case it has happened to anyone else 1

If it happens with townies as well, it's probably some broken CC (had something similar happen to me quite a while back, though it was some item in the gloves slot, IIRC). Still, since the issue apparently happened again with another item after removing that particular hat, you might also want to try running the ww.fix command (the WW fixing functions include some related to outfits, so it's probably worth a shot to rule out bad data and the like). Alternatively, it might just be the case that you have another piece of broken CC and that hat simply takes precedence.
