The place is in terrible condition—barely furnished, worn out, and cold—but it marks the beginning of a new chapter in his life. With no money for repairs, Tass sets out to find work in the unfamiliar city of Lethepolis. The chapter sets the tone for the story: Tass, unknowingly stepping into a city where forgotten gods live among mortals, begins his journey of self-discovery, mystery, and ancient power—one that will slowly awaken the divine legacy hidden within Lethepolis.
