Hey guys, quick question here. Is Waifu Shop broken for 3.2 or what? Cause It works for me, but the counter doesn't change texture and lighting is flickering and textures are breaking for high/medium lighting settings. If I turn lighting to low, some of my other mods break, so I kinda don't want to.

I made a new update. Now, the character images can switch automatically. It looks good, but there are 2 small problems.
Random jump when you click: The game clock always runs in the background. If you click a character right before the image is about to change, the first image will flash very fast and jump to the next one. It might look a bit strange.
Flicker when you unclick: When you click away to another character, if the time is exactly at the changing point, the animation will flash the next image for a split second before changing back to the static image. This makes a small flickering feel.

Because I made quite a few changes, I'm not sure if there are any issues with the mod, especially the skin part (I only have the free skin). Please let me know if there are any problems.
 

Additionally, AI mentioned that PNG mods might cause computer lag. I haven't had any problems using them so far. If you experience lag, please let me know (please first confirm that it's not caused by other mods).

 

Next is an introduction to the mod.
 

The new version of the character requires 6 images: 1 for "non-selected" and 5 for "selected" (1+3 for males). I personally have a certain requirement for stylistic consistency, so in the future, I will prioritize updating existing characters to have at least 6 images with a unified style (same author). For a complete version, you can refer to the characters Yixuan, Burnice, Velina, and Claret.
 

I still encourage you to choose the images you want rather than all images, as some contain NTR、pregnancy and other elements that may not appeal to everyone. If you feel 6 images aren't enough, or if you don't mind different styles and just want to see as many pictures as possible, please let me know. While I can't always handle it all, I'll include it in future plans.
 

Currently, the "selected" transition speed is 1 second. You can change the time using "change_speed.bat" (more frequent <1, longer stay >1). Enter the number and press Enter.Please note that you should not enter 0, negative numbers, English letters, or other characters.
 

Because of the increased number of images, I have chosen to separate SKIN into a subfolder (see "Yixuan" below).

I see you ran into a few issues. Even though I’m not sure if you’ll check this out, I’m sharing a UI mod Sunna Ui.rarwith you that features something similar; it was implemented as a video element there, so I don't know if that specific functionality could be applied to the character icons to make it work—especially since the structure you used for your mod is different. I liked this Verina mod, but I ran into a few issues while using it in-game, so I made some fixes and patches and thought I'd share them here for anyone interested.
Issues with the original version:
Occasional purple geometry flickering.
The second eyebrow shape not following blinking animation properly.
Some character materials getting darker when viewed from low angles.
If you're having the same issues, you can try one of the patches below.
 

Files:
1. Original: Unmodified original version.
 

2. Fix: Fixes the purple flickering and the second eyebrow animation.
Some character materials can still get darker from low angles.
 

3. Fix + SlotFix: Same fixes, plus SlotFix material binding.
I did not use the usual transparency depth fix on the double-sided transparent parts, because it caused gray bubble-like artifacts in my testing.
 

4. Fix + SlotFix + Double-Sided Transparency Fix
This is the version I'm using. I replaced the original transparency method for the double-sided parts and used a nearest-surface approach instead.
This fixed the low-angle darkening for me and also got rid of the gray bubble-like overlap artifacts. The new transparency method looks slightly different in brightness compared to the original. I adjusted it to make it as close as possible, but it is not exactly identical.
It also has 5 states:
0.75 -> 0.60 -> 0.45 -> hidden -> opaque -> 0.75
 

Install the original mod first, then apply whichever patch you want.
