set the material maps for the skin to a pure yellow with hex code FFDD1E (255,221,030 in RGB) for maximum reflection sharpness and the lighting map for the skin to 4D0080. And make sure you save the .DDS file with a BC7 Linear DX11+

Apply these colors to areas where you want a glossy finish.

You can adjust the brightness of the 4D0080 so that the surface is not too dark.

The program used to edit Material Maps and Light Maps is Paint.net or Adobe Photoshop.

Hope you enjoy your oily skin.

set the material maps for the skin to a pure yellow with hex code FFDD1E (255,221,030 in RGB) for maximum reflection sharpness and the lighting map for the skin to 4D0080. And make sure you save the .DDS file with a BC7 Linear DX11+

Apply these colors to areas where you want a glossy finish.

You can adjust the brightness of the 4D0080 so that the surface is not too dark.

You need to increase the brightness of
4D0080, for example, change it to 9800FF

You should not increase the brightness of your character's skin tone, but rather increase the brightness of the colors.

The program used to edit Material Maps and Light Maps is Paint.net or Adobe Photoshop.

Save the .DDS file with a BC7 Linear DX11+

This is my post on page 370

If you don't know which part is which, look at the Diffuse.dds file.

After that, if you want any part to be oil, you can crop that part in the light map and material map.

And color that part according to my post.

And if you don't understand, try following the steps below. I hope it helps. I don't want to record a video because I'm tired from working every day.

Alot of the newer mods just never work for me now. i noticed the character fix is ceasing updates. Heard something about slot fix.

Could someone please send me the fix or package for the fix. Not sure whats required so send everything even a tutorial if possible please.

Those mods with slot fix, you just need XXMI to make them work.

Successfully fixed the oily skin issue, thanks for sharing!
I was too lazy to separate the clothes from the body, so the jacket also ended up looking shiny, but I don’t really mind.
I don’t use any photo editing tools, so I converted the DDS file to PNG and asked ChatGPT to help me modify the hex codes, then converted the PNG back to DDS.
Also, I had to set the lighting map brightness to 330% to avoid making it look too dark.

It was, but I love what I do.

awwww no TwT well i appreciate you for doing that. Thank you for your hard work! I'm gonna try to just color the flip flops on them since that's the only thing that doesn't match with the textures you added^^

I dont understand how you do this still. I'm i suppose to just copy the parts of the body i want shiny into the giant orange square .dds texture? Because thats all my materialmap.dds in for mod i want add this to, a empty orange square with nothing inside it

How do you achieve this glossy finish? I tried the steps with the same hex codes, but under shadows, the skin looks really dark compared to the face (I tried both hex codes).

Significantly darker skin means you saved the lightmap under the wrong format; save it under sRGB, not linear
