[Solved] schlongs of skyrim - <missing schlong> in mcm

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

I have the dreaded missing schlong issue, where whenever the load order changes or a mod is deactivated, SOS looses the majority of its extensions.

I'm on 1.6770, Schlongs_of_Skyrim_SE - v1.1.4, with .DLL patch.

Ā

I could not find a reference to this problem on the forum, even though I read about it here a while back. Is there a workaround or a NG version I'm missing?

Thanks.

Ā

PS: Just realized, I posted in the wrong forum, sorry.

Ā

Edit: Using the non .DLL version fixes the SoS instability and resaver doesn't even find orphaned scripts after the switch.

Have you overwrited existing .dll in SoS mod with updated ,dll? I have same SoS version and I replaced original mod .dll with new one.

Yes, installing the updated .dll is mandatory to get it working in the first place. It does work but the slightest change causes SoS to loose most entries, even if the load order isn't changed. I tried to do the troubleshootingĀ  procedure in the SoS thread by uninstalling the mod in MCM, waited 31 days in a indoor cell, saved and reinstalled all SoS mods, which brings back the menu entries but the leather tanga is stuck on the character, so not quite sure the procedure was successful.

What ended up working for you? I have the same issue it worked yesterday but today when I installed a few mods it’s stopped working and uninstalling the new mods isn’t Ā doing anything

Which version of Skyrim are you using? The OP was using SE but posted in the LE section.
