Weird shimmering effect on my character...

Hi, guys. Any suggestions on how I can get rid of this weird shimmering effect that has attached itself to my player character since she returned from Apocrypha?

I've tried reloading to a save just before I leave Apocrypha and it's not there but when I appear again in Bloodskal Barrow, there it is.

Open the console and click on your character in 3rd person, type dispelallspells  and hit enter.  If it's a leftover magical effect (pioneer bug of this would be the draugr eye bug) it will be deleted from your character and everything is back to normal.

Hmm nothing unusual at the list actually, but that doesn't need to mean anything. The glowing draugr eye bug for example was never on the active effects visible. What you have there looks pretty much like the DragonpriestFX by the way.

I tried the console command after clicking on my character in 3rd person and it did not clear up the shimmering effect.

This is really bizarre... It does not appear until I return to Solstheim from Apocrypha.

Which part of apocrypha? The one where you need to stay in the light?

Ok, I think I know what happened here...

I used the Summon Followers spell while I was in Apocrypha and I'm guessing that broke something. That purple shimmering effect occurs when you use that spell.

I just reloaded to Bloodskal Barrow/Raven Rock Mine and went to Apocrypha alone and when I returned after reading the book, the effect was not present.

Odd that's not the one with the light. Otherwise i would've imagined that the drain life effect from that would linger to your character, at least visually.

Damn.. no idea then, sorry.
