Incest for WW

I've downloaded the inappropriate mod for WW and I'm curious, how does incest actually works? does sims now treat their own family the same way they treat their outsider when it come to sex? The reason I'm asking this is because I want sims to treat incest as something that's taboo and not something that's fully casual. if that make sense.

Sorry, but it'll be treated just like any other WW sex. Your Sims won't be secretive about it and they won't receive any special taboo moods or something. I used it in a save where a few households were heavily inspired by Greek and Roman mythology, so it was quite fitting to have it handled this way, but for a more "real world" setting it's probably way too casual. Furthermore, other Sims will react to seeing sex, but not to the fact that it's incest.

 

Also, if not aware of this yet, you may probably want to use the Incest WW attribute rather than the global option in the relationship settings, as the latter will make all Sims in your game happily incestuous. With the attribute (and the global option disabled), only the Sims that you select (by giving them the attribute) will be open towards sexual relationships with family members (that also need to have the attribute).

However, what you may want to enable globally (for multipe reasons, not just incest) are relationships between teens and adults (also found in the WW relationship settings). And remember that you need to give your teen Sims the Post-Puberty attribute as well, if you have High School Years installed.

Thank for the clarify, I thought there was something taboo about it in WW but I guess I remembered wrong. thanks for the idea of the greek stuff though, very interesting role play.

Put the inappropriate mod package in the wicked whims folder, and then give some or all your your sims the incest trait.

Is there any mod or way to make incest or teen-adult relationships more taboo? Because I know how t use the mods I've been given, it's just boring and unrealistic. So if you know something, I would be grateful (and others maybe too).

Since ages, I have wondered how such an important aspect could be overlooked. I would like to see at least a small reaction. Something like, if a sim caught incest sex, he will have some bubble with a unique icon representing his surprise at the situation. It is possible to give this sim a strong trait of embarrassment. Or it would be cool if it gave this sim a temporary state in which this sim tried to spread rumors about the sims he saw and the one who heard these rumors would probably lose some attitude points (purely symbolically). 

It's just that we really do either have a situation where it's not there, or it is there but nobody cares either. Especially amusing is the lack of parental response. And I'm not saying it has to be a bad reaction with disgust or a positive reaction, it would be cool to give different variables for the reaction, but we don't have anything at all.

I think, we mainly don't have any of this because, following the release of High School Years (which portrays teenage Sims as immature children), incest was removed from WW across all versions (previously, it was only disabled in Patreon version to comply with their terms). The Inappropriate Unlock mod restores the old incest functionality, but that's about it.

Reactions and consequences would require a more complex mod to be created, most likely in a fashion similar to the prostitution system from Wicked Perversions, if it is at all possible to do without altering parts of WW itself (I'm more of a tech support guy, so my knowledge in that regard is limited at best).

By the way. We can still control variables related to incest, it's just that in the game it WAS(but we have a patch) kind of disabled, right? I mean, we don't have to interact with WW in that case. Is that possible?

1. I have a sister/brother - yes.
2. I have a parent - yes
3. my relationship with my brother/sister is 100? YES
4. am I in a romantic relationship with my brother/sister? YES
5. my relationship with my parent is less than 50? YES
6. give the parent a “suspicion” moodlet, which provokes autonomous dialogs of quarrels with this sim
   (this sim should be given a suspect moodlet. Moodlets are kind of the nexus here.).

 

In short this is a quick, dumb example. I don't know what the technical implementation of such things looks like, just asking)
It's a simple question. Is there nothing like this because it's impossible or because no one has tried?

It's basically this part that would need to be done (with a different step 5 for other moodlets, like sibling reactions and/or positive outcomes). If memory serves, there is (or at least was) some kind of "WTF are they doing?" moodlet for family members watching incest sex while not being okay with it themselves (similiar to cheating/cucking), but I haven't played a scenario like that in a long, long time, so I might be mixing up stuff there.

 

But yeah, to my knowledge, nobody has done something like that so far, although in theory, it should be possible. Wicked Pervs manages to track "This Sim is my client and wants me to do XYZ" information, alters relationships based on "performance" (which means tracking WW sex), and checks them for things like getting tipped after service or giving away freebies. Parent/sibling relationships should be easy as well, considering that the game itself needs to deal wiith those every now and then.

 

I guess the big issue here is that one would need to have a solid understanding of both modding the game (which isn't exactly modding-friendly, especially when it comes to scripting) and working with WW (which is quite a huge mod with a lot of stuff going on). Incestuous relationships are actually possible without WW as well (not sure if MC Command Center still has that option), but you'll only get the game interactions for woohoo and trying for a baby this way (and hence no immediate reaction to watching sex, only suspicion and sex outcome moodlets for participants).
