Hello first time making a topic so bear with me here

ZomboWin Multiplayer addon

Adds support for multiplayer in the mod ZomboWin

This is an early release so issues and ideas are appreciated

This mod has these functions:

Make both players play and stop an animation

A consent toggle in sandbox options

A rank selector for who can use debug menu

The mod has been tested with:

2 Player coop

Consent turned on and off

Not been tested with:

More than 2 players

Other Zomboid mods

Other language than english

Will not work with custom on stop code (WIP)

I'm looking forward for your feedback

If you are a modder and want help with some Zomboid systems I may be able to help

WARNING!!!

If you are running a dedicated server and are paying for hosting, FORGET IT, ZomboWin is blocked by most server providers! How do I know this? I did the testing myself.

The only way to run this on a dedicated server would be if you hosted it yourself locally. Don't believe me? Try and set it up yourself and see what happens.

It appears that some of the files in the folder naming and structure are flagged. DO NOT BOTHER!

You can still play it on local hosted servers.

multiplayer seems to be having an issue with antibodies? Interacting with other players spits this out in the debug log...
LuaManager$GlobalObject.require> require("ZomboWinMP/ServerCommands/lgd_antibodies") failed.

also found this in the debug log

LuaManager$GlobalObject.require> require("ZomboWinMP/ServerCommands/ConfigFile") failed.

the mod half works in mp can only interact with self others doesnt really work nothing happens?

I've noticed that as a host, you can't interact with other players after a certain period of time (they can interact with you instead though)

There's also no setting to ignore clothing either

Zombies don't play defeat animations too

Does this mod support same sex interactions? I'm trying to make it work with my friend and while M-F stuff works flawlessly, alongside few other things, we can't get M-M stuff.

Hello as far as I'm aware there's been some updates to the zombowin which may or may not break some (or all) functions. All this does is forward commands from client to client so any feature that zombowin doesn't have won't work (same sex and stuff latest u checked)

Thank you for your MP add-on! I wanted to ask — do you know if you'll be releasing an update soon to support the latest ZomboWin features in multiplayer?

What exactly led you to this conclusion? What do you mean by testing?

From what I have been able to gather, most providers fetch and install mods based on the Steam Workshop, which has a different folder structure than ZomboWin does when installing manually - same for this addon. Would love to see what kind of testing you did, if possible.
