This has been on the todo list for my setup quite a while.

Finally I made it.

 

Salma not engine created but permanent.

Can be hired as follower.

 

TLTR:

After the final scene, this lizzard is dead and Salma mourning, you can speak to her but she will stay alone (normal outcome of quest)

Leave the cave, e.g., visit the outlook (nearby gate).

Come back and she qill be your lover and can be hired as follower.

I know this isn't exactly advancing the story, but I still appreciate it allows her to remain in the world and live on instead of just disappearing as if she never existed later on. Thank you.

Yeah, this is a thing I hate.

In my setup I made a couple of those disappearing npc's remain in the game.

I'd be more than happy in my next game to add her to my PAHE/DOM collection on the way back down 😋

I am not a star but a modder.

I don't upload mods, but tweaks of my setup.

I am proud of my setup. Not a single ctd in game for at least a year. This happens only if creating new tweaks.

I share my tweaks occasionally, but they are demanding, because I use assets already made in other tweaks.

So not for beginners, mostly.

OOIC, do you use any mods that let followers loot? 

 

I have one that I used for a while with Harvesting Adventures....

.......and it was fun for a while, with eg random follower/Estrus encounters LOL, but it seems to be a bit flaky and appears to have stopped working - seems to be a common problem, but it may well be me/other users not using it properly

 

I've looked through Nexus for similar mods, but there's nothing that stands out as a particularly useable equivalent

 

If you had something like that which you could recommend, I'd be glad to know what that might be

But huge huge advantages and possibilities. Followers get their own life.

Its in my setup since begin 2000.

I had a look but you need a patch for that to work with AFT/iAFT and that's not included in the SSE version

 

I guess I'll have to try making what I have work as well as possible 🙂

I use it without any follower framework, because it is one. 

Together with myhomeis your home the perfect combo.
