General Site Visiting Problems

Okay, this is a common issue, but apparently I've tried just about every fix I could find on the net and I cannot seem to get this fixed.

 

I mean I've had something like this happen to me, but it had to do with adobe flash not installed or some where along those lines. This isn't it.

 

On to my point.

 

 

I'm having that problem with the white background, blue links only appearing when ever I open up Loverslab and certain other sites. I had this problem when I opened up FO3/FNV Nexus mod site and even Nexus forums. It doesn't happen to all the sites in my bookmark. It did happen in IE, but both nexus and loverslab seem to be properly showing up now.

 

In Firefox...

 

I've gone to tools > options > content > colors... > Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selection above. That's not it either.

I've tried View, Page Style > Basic Page Style.  That's not it either.

 

Outside of Firefox...

 

I've tried to reinstall and overwrite the java update and reboot, but that didn't help.

 

I'm currently on IE viewing the page and typing this.

 

I need more suggestions. I am currently looking at this monzilla support section about this. For some reason I cannot paste the link and I'm also having issues trying to click on more in google to access videos in Firefox. Clicking it does nothing. It certainly not Adobe Flash either. I have that installed.

 

My PC was working fine hours ago There's more to the story, however. Only problem is that It's too much to type and I rather take it to PMs with someone who really has a good knowledge about this. If anyone out there is interested just post a comment letting me know and I'll PM you.

Did you try to change theme?

You are talking about the white background correct. There is a dark version.

 

That at least will allow you to access the site and links until the fix can be found.

Both seem to be working on my end. Can't understand why it isn't working for your computer.

Im not sure if that has to do with anything but firefox is 32bit browser, IE is 64bit.

 

Use waterfox it's supported by firefox its in every aspect same only its 64bit browser.

 

I have never any problems EVER with waterfox i use this browser now for 3years.

- Clear your browser history of EVERYTHING
- Try another browser. Chrome is a good one at the moment

That is your browser and computers doing as the site is rendering fine for me.

Well here's the thing. I ran Webroots Window Washer and while it was washing my PC, that's what caused it to do that. But I will go ahead and clear my browser and see if it helps.

 

 

 

Edit: And yeah, I just installed Google Chrome and it's working great. I never liked IE so I used Firefox forever.

Okay never mind. All works fine now. I pin pointed the issue. It was regarding Webroot Window Washer.

It might be nice if you click "solved" or "answered" on the forum so that others that might have the same problem in the future can check and see if they are using "window washer".

I use CCleaner for most of all my cleaning needs. Don't know if that might be something that you would like to look into, depending on the features vs Window Washer.
