Riasnatcher Posted September 20, 2024 Posted September 20, 2024 (edited) Does anyone know the fix when using these two mods that made me unable to click the "Manage with AFT" option when adding Tamed Monsters as companion. SKSE 1.6.640 AFT v1.66 SSE-3 Aroused Creatures SE v04.12.7z I also have Unforgiving Device to which will add "Please help me" dialogue to everyone. But this specific problem of not being able to click any dialogue option is because we're not meant to be able to talk to creatures, so the only dialogue there is going to be the one from Aroused Creatures "Need some fun?" that's it. But when Unforgiving Device's dialogue option come out, it'll also sometimes be unclickable. So I believe this is Aroused Creatures' problem, but I don't see any fix so far or alternative way of selecting dialogue options. I even tried using my keyboard but it's still not working. These screenshots are not related to issue. Just hoping you enjoy my character screenshots. Spoiler Edited September 20, 2024 by Riasnatcher Moving photos
RedTelephone8 Posted October 17, 2024 Posted October 17, 2024 Quick question, what facial expression mod did you use in these screenshots?

Reveal hidden contents The "can't click on dialogue" bug is most likely a result of the NPC not having any "Hello" dialogue lines available. Without this, their dialogue can get stuck. Any actor with a vanilla voice type will have these lines, but a creature (or an NPC with a custom voice) might not. Of course, creatures can't usually talk, but they can be made to talk if you give them a script command to allow PC dialogue. The crude and easy "fix" is to save and reload. Then you can click. A better fix is to use the CK to give the creatures at least one "Hello" dialogue line. For example, if I make a talking wolf, I would give him a line of "Hello" dialogue that says "*howl*" and use the sound button to select the "wolf howl" sound. 1

I made them myself. It seems like people love them lol cause there have been a lot of people requesting it from me through dms, I'll probably going to put it up somewhere. Yeah I actually noticed that I can quicksave, reload, and quickly dismiss or recruit. How do u give the creature a hello dialogue line? Edited October 28, 2024 by Riasnatcher

This can be an existing quest, or an otherwise empty quest that you make. However, the quest needs to be enabled upon game start, unless you have some other way to start the quest. Hello dialogue is added under the "Misc" tab of a quest. There are many types of dialogue you can add there, but you'll need to add "Hello" dialogue. The dialogue line itself could just be essentially blank, i.e., " ". But you'll need to condition it or everyone in Skyrim will say it. Assuming that all the Tamed Monsters are in the CreatureFaction, you could use this faction. So, the condition would be filled in as: GetInFaction CreatureFaction =1. 1

I used One With Nature mod instead of hiring Tamed Monsters. So it's basically for any monsters. Also do I use the SSEEDIT or what? I assume it's SSEEDIT
