inrush Posted September 18, 2024 Posted September 18, 2024 ... there are something like in NRAAS Returner but there are thousands of them ( .
landess Posted September 24, 2024 Posted September 24, 2024 I don't believe you can without recoding the game. NPC's tend to not be 'complete' Sims. I once decided to modify a taxi driver, and was pleased enough to save it to the bin as is. When I decided to use that CAS library Sim to create a new player character it was missing traits and one of the traits it had was from the selection for horses. Even after adding/fixing it to be 'normal' it never truly was normal. There are things we can not affect through mods which define 'Sims' so using NPC's can be challenging depending on what we expect them to be capable of. We already know NRaas doesn't affect everything and certainly less when one has Kinky World installed which loads last and overwrites much. 1
inrush Posted September 24, 2024 Author Posted September 24, 2024 Ok, but is it possible at least for townies, i.e. members of household not currently playing? 1
landess Posted September 25, 2024 Posted September 25, 2024 Townies are what I call Inactive Sims with the household being played Active sims. From what I can tell they 'hibernate' with story progression handling skills for work or homework for school. They will get pushed to lots by the game where they do appear to follow the script of an active not currently selected. Player interactions with them are normal as well and can influence what story progression must handle, such as a pregnancy or other types of events added to that households 'responsibilities'. We don't see the game adding furniture for babies and things like that either which can be seen when visiting an inactive household/lot. If a player moves a controlled Sim to another lot - the game will either push Sims to that lot (just the camera there often works as well) or if a household, will spawn the Sims there to be visible - where they begin following scripts normally until you 'leave'. You appear to be wanting information on something specific so please be so. 1

But there are many interactions that do not require architectural/construction changes... Story progression of NRAAS imitates an activity that do not actually present, so i rejet it. (
