Keyboard doesn't work when I start the game...

Hi,

When I start the game keyboard doesn't work at all.

Mouse works normally.

I checked the internet.

There are few suggestions:

In the SkyrimPrefs.ini

Changing the value of bGamepadEnable=1 to bGamepadEnable=0

Adding bKeyboardEnable=1

I did it.

It didn't work.

Another thing to do is "disable the Steam Overlay" in the settings of Steam.

It didn't work either.

Do you have any suggestion?

If you can help me anyway, I'll appreciate.

if you have any unplug your controllers / joysticks or any other non standard human interface devices (eg: it could be seeing a card reader or fingerprint scanner as a controller)

I don't have such things.

It occurs just on LE, not on SE.

I googled it.

It happens when there are both LE and SE.

There is no cure.

I try to reinstall the game.

I'll see if it'll work.

I solved the problem for now.

At least for LE.

In the "Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition" folder, I renamed "SkyrimPrefs.ini" file something like that: "SkyrimPrefs.ini_original".

I reinstalled LE.

I start the game from a clean save.

Keyboard works as it should be.

After I opened SE again, a new "SkyrimPrefs.ini" has been created.

Then, I opened LE again.

I didn't get any keyboard problem.
