travelmedic Posted September 13, 2024 Posted September 13, 2024 So I'm coming back to Skyrim after several years absence, and will be installing SE/AE for the first time. I've been reading through all the pinned guides here already such as "Skyrim SE (and AE) for Beginners" and some of the others to help get ready. As long as I'm careful with versions for certain mods like Address Library and SKSE, that should all be OK. For a body I'll probably go with CBBE 3BA, but that will depend on how many clothes/armor mods I find that are available for that vs. BHUNP 3BA or TBD SMP. I don't know as anything except vanilla outfits is available for the new PS Boss Amazonian body yet, or I might consider that. Anyway, picking one and setting that up is not the issue. What I'm looking for is something like ZEX/ZBG in Fallout 4. Using that, I would build all my outfits and bodies using Fusion Girl Zero Sliders. Then I could pick a bunch of FG bodyslide presets and input their data in a couple of ini files, and in game NPCs would randomly be assigned a preset from those I'd set up. In other words, if I added one skinny preset and one fat preset to the two ini files, then NPCs would have an equal chance of having either of those two body presets. Is there anything like that for SE/AE? So far I haven't found anything. It's nice to not have every NPCs body be an exact clone (excepting weight setting) of everybody else.
Hero357159 Posted September 14, 2024 Posted September 14, 2024 What you're looking for is called OBody Standalone https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/58755?tab=description 1
travelmedic Posted September 14, 2024 Author Posted September 14, 2024 Yes, that looks exactly like what I'm looking for! Thank you!!! 1
kraoro Posted October 5, 2024 Posted October 5, 2024 Obody is a randomizer, but if you want something that isn't "random" but instead assigns bodies based on job type, class, age, etc, there's also SynthEBD. SynthEBD also assigns different texture mods to NPCs. Although, you'd still need Obody to use it anyway.
