We got horny Pokemon in CK3 before GTA6. Jokes aside, I like the mod a lot! Maybe the horses in your other mod can also evolve into Ogani-like monsters? Kinda like the Tikbalangs of Filipino mythology.

Glad you are enjoying it! I have no knowledge of Tikbalangs, but making the horse become like an Ogani would be difficult as one is playable and the other is not.

This seems very promising not gonna lie.
But I'm experiencing the same bug as myname789 this is a new save so no issue with existing data it might be mod conflict as i have quite a few so here's a .txt if you want to take a look, i'm gonna run a few test too(doesn't seems to be it).
edit:Found it by adding the sadistic trait to my ruler the option appeared so my guess is the check on line 13 and 343 in Phazebeasts/common/character_interactions/phaze_beasts_interactions for ogani_bond_trait doesn't work as intended and same for other interactions & decisions.

hope this can help you fixing it because i have no idea how to do it myself.
for now i simply added the condition has_trait = lustful in the OR not really optimal because it simply bypass the probleme instead of fixing it

No idea if this well solve your issue but place Phaze Futa bellow carnalitas, and move Phaze Beasts above carn. Beasts is stand alone where as Futa is dependant.

unfortunatly did not help but as said previously it seems that the game have trouble recognizing the ogani_bond_trait. May be due to the XP level of this trait

I have not had issues with the trait gaining XP. I will look through the files but if there was an issue like that the mod would not work at all. It is hard to trouble shoot because the issue you are having doesn't affect everyone.

Maybe a ritual to summon a horse-like Ogani would be a better alternative? It can be a way for MILFs to become Ogani-bonded without starting with the Ogani trait

hey Phaze How's it going?

looking trough the files i discovered sommething interesthing;

it seems there is a list of traits that will allow to feed the orgoni, but when you don't have them the option is missing

image.png.b30daff335520768f0012f6ba295596a.png

only with the trait i was able to feed

I COMPLETELY FORGOT I had those limiters there! I thought I only put them on the breeding actions. Wow that was dumb. Thanks for reminding me. Now I need to consider if I want those in or not going forward...

Ok, so I think I understand the bonding part a bit. Played a full PC from 16 to death. I was able to solve the bonding part by taking over a couple counties, enslaving all, (I have a mod that let's me sack a settlement and take some or all people there), you will have enough to start feeding the demon and then you can slowly ensure it's always bonded at Level 2.

What Mod do you have that let you sack settlements?

It's called "Siege Victory Choices" on the CK3 Workshop. If you are in command of the army when it takes a settlement; who get options with those inside. You can do lots of damage to the city itself and also you can decide what you want to do with the inhabitants. But it only works if you are actually leading the army. Otherwise vanilla outcomes apply.

There's a separate submod for the AI to also use it... if you feel like making things challenging or "fair".

Ah-haaa! So there was a hidden requirement. I added lustful to the "phaze_beast_interactions" file (since my characters always have the lustful trait), now I can use the ogani breed/eat prisoner hostile interactions.

Glad that got figured out. Already have other bugs with less clear solutions but at least the core features are working.

Some quick thoughts. I'll preface this with: I assume most of what I'll be pointing out as things simply overlooked.

1. I was poking around in the mod files. I am by no means good or even proficient at modding. I can however, take existing code and make (small) changes, and then copy/paste. With that being said, is the missing function of "Claim Ogani Decision" not meant to give you the corresponding trait, "Ogani Bond"? Because currently it only gives you the moddifer, not the trait.

2. I also noticed that the "Rift Touched Trait" is non-inheritable, and doesnt seem to have anyway to receive it? I am aware this is a 1st version, but from what I can see in the code, there isnt anyway of non-console command getting "Rift Touched" post character creation/console command. I assume this is just an oversight for now?

3. In the coding for "Hatch Ogani" there seems to be a line that indicates that the ONLY circumstance it should be showing (let alone being a valid decision to take) is if the current landed individual DOESNT already have a valid adult ogani and has a valid egg. I might be able to get a screen shot (I may have already deleted that save) if you really want, but my 2nd gen female character has BOTH an "Adult Ogani" and a "hatchling ogani" modifier. Also, this decision currently seems to be the only way post 1st Gen to get "Ogani Bond".

Also, this decision currently seems to be the only way post 1st Gen to get "Ogani Bond".

1. Claim Ogani already targets an existing Ogani, I have scripts that run every so often and will eventually add the trait if it notices an Ogani is flaged as claimed but the owner lacks the trait.

2. You might have missed on the mod page I mentioned a "Rift" location. Until that is implimented, the character creator is the only way to get rift touched. (Rift touched is never supposed to be inherited, it is a special feature. Broodmother Bloodlines are the main way to use Ogani).

3. Incorrect, the AI can use claim Ogani interaction and will eventually be given the trait if successful (I have had three 2nd gen siblings all have it). Having an Ogani in your inventory is not the same as bonding to it. Let's say your Son hartched an Ogani and you now play as him. Your old character's Ogani would go to his inventory, but it lacks a flag bonding it to your son. Instead, if you son has a sister, she can now uses the decision to claim that extra Ogani from you.

From an RP perspective, feeding Ogani doesn't make sense for honorable lords and ladies. I would suggest a diplomatic malus for ogani-bonded to balance out the bonuses, but I think balance should come later after the core features are fleshed out.

By the way, my Ogani disappeared from my inventory. Is that supposed to happen? It might be a mod conflict. Made a new game and it didn't happen anymore.

Only time an Ogani should vanish is if a relative claimed it or it died, so possibly that was a conflict.

Is there going to be Gay content?

Maybe? Nothing planned. Ogani need to reproduce so the sexual aspect is focused on directing them towards women, which can be done playing as a man or woman. The combat aspect of the mod is also accessible regardless of sexuality.

Fun mod but damn does the npcs go crazy with it. When they doesn't kill all the women in their family they end up killing themselves and i inherit their eggs. (It's maybe bc i've been playing for a while and i have a vast empire with a lot of ppl) My niece died (in childbirth not bc of the onagi for once) i recieved something like 150 eggs. 😅

Tho it might also be my fault for adding "lustful" for the prisoners interraction (gonna remove it to test) and i'm going to up the family interaction timer and the minimum age (so they can at least have a few children before the get ravaged.

I have ran into this as well once you start letting a lot of family own an Ogani. That is part of the risk / reward behind it though. These are mythical beasts that normal people probably would avoid, but if you crave power... They can deverstate your foes, but also your home. Instead of changing the conditions for the family breeding I might make the AI less likely to use it. (Just lost a duaghter because her sister forced an Ogani breeding. Although if a daughter does live and gains the Broodmother trait they are way more likely to live future attempts).

Do characters with higher health and prowess have better chances at surviving Ogani breeding and sustaining less injuries?

No, the only impact is if they are a Broodmother or not.
