CBBE 3BA with CBPC physics no longer working

Hey everyone, I've recently wanted to start a new save with some survival mods, but after creating my character I've noticed she has no body physics, while my other save files still have them.

I've tried reinstalling 3BA, CBPC and XP32 skeleton but nothing seems to work, I have bodyslide set to CBBE 3BBB Body Amazing as Outfit/Body and I batch build all of the other stuff but nothing seems to be working. I remember that I've had this issue more than once but I forgot how to fix it, my other save files have physics but the bodyslide preset doesn't coincide with the actual ingame body leaving me wondering if there's a discrepancy between the two, because my newest character actually has said preset, but no physics. It definitely doesn't help that I've upgraded my PCs hardware recently and had a few issues with reinstalling windows and whatnot so some game paths might've been screwed.

But yeah it's weird that building the body + preset changes literally nothing ingame. Also, probably worth mentioning but my newest characters body changes with the racemenu sliders (like boobs/thighs whatever) while my older ones don't, they only change with weight.

One issue that might happen is that the "Greek Goddess" preset might not be CBBE-3BBB compliant, resulting in failure of preset adjustments onto the chosen reference body mesh (CBBE 3BBB Amazing Body). That is, IFF the Greek Goddess" preset is not CBBB-3BBB, then it won't map onto the chosen CBBE-3BBB body mesh, or only partially (in the case of a stock CBBE preset)

writing the contents of the build operation into the wrong folder might also be a possibility, depending on how you've configured your game (at the OS level), or if an alternate output path (ex: .../some dummy folder as an intermediary holder/) was entered into Bodyslide's "Advanced > Output Path" field earlier and never cleared.

I've never used the output path and browsing the directory of bodyslide leads me to the game's directory so that also seems to be correct. But, even if the "greek goddess" preset isn't working as intended, how is it possible that when I build the body nothing changes, even in the older characters?

Edit: I've just checked and greek goddess seems to be compatible with the 3BBB body

Second edit: I'm just an idiot, that's the issue here.

Basically I have Skyfem installed, and during the racemenu creation for some reason I've put the "Sex" slider to 0 (because it looked better for some reason) which is technically the male sex, putting that slider to 1 gives me physics.

Options:

  1. Your current race points to a different naked armor. Maybe you have a mod that allows your character to look different from NPCs:
    1. ...which uses RACE records: i.e. Nord is not actually a Nord.
    2. ...which uses some other method than RACE record edits. Perhaps a dll similar to DAR/OAR, essentially replacing file paths on the fly - assuming such a thing exists.
  2. You're wearing a naked body armor outfit which masks the actual naked body specified in your RACE record. This could be a ring, or a hat, or an imaginary butt plug.

When testing issues with naked bodies and results from BodySlide:

  1. Open the resulting body meshes in NifSkope and do a sanity check on them. Do they look like what you saw in BS's preview?
  2. Get More Informative Console.
  3. prid 14
  4. Check your own race. Make sure it is one of the vanilla races: Its form id starts with (0x)00...
  5. inv
  6. Make sure you're not wearing anything. Any item marked as "worn" can change your entire appearance.
  7. Use unequipitem or removeitem if the item is not otherwise removable.
  8. showracemenu
  9. Make sure you have no morphs being applied from RM. If in doubt, save a RM preset of your character and clear out morphs from the resulting jslot file. Apply the modified preset to your character. Also do this if you have mods other than RM applying morphs, because RM will only show its own.

So...problem solved?
