ShadowProctor Posted September 2, 2024 Posted September 2, 2024 Having a bit of a problem, wondering if anyone else has experienced this and might know how to resolve? Last night I finally updated my game from 1.5.97 after having used the downgrader a while back when AE first dropped. I'm in the middle of reinstalling all of my mods and decided to hit the Creation Kit button to make sure my CK still worked fine. It doesn't. As soon as I hit the Run button from inside MO2, the message box that pops up for a second before the app starts just kind of flashes and goes away. No launch. I have no idea what happened, but the CK simply won't launch anymore. Has anyone else who upgraded encountered this? Please tell me there's a fix? I've done multiple google searches and I can't find anything for someone having this exact problem.
ShadowProctor Posted September 2, 2024 Author Posted September 2, 2024 Update: I think I figured it out. For anyone else who may have this problem, I re-downloaded the Skyrim SE CC launcher from Steam and installed Creation Kit Platform Extended. It appears to be launching fine now.
