Got Atlyss last night and started tinkering with UABE, great to see people already working on modding peak! For people encountering issues installing OP's mod, I think the issue stems from UABE not properly saving out a sanitized relative path for the working file, and instead saved OP's path they used when creating the .emip file using the Itchio release. It's pretty easy to work around; just clone the directory structure of the original mod and paste your game's resource.assets file in there when working to open the .emip:

 

full directory (place resource.assets in here):

...\steamapps\common\Atlyss Archive\Itchio\ATLYSS_3.4.8a_SingleplayerDemo\ATLYSS_Data\

when loading "base folder" for .emip:

...\steamapps\common\Atlyss Archive\Itchio (select the "Itchio" directory bc UABE truncates the path weirdly)

 

With all that being said, how are people doing texture edits for the base player characters? I've tried exporting the kobold body/boob .obj's into multiple 3D suites but seems like the UV's aren't properly exporting so I've had to texture manually like a CAVEMAN. Especially a pain since it seems like there's some funky UV mirroring happening around the nipple seam. Also seems like some weird interpolation happening around the center of the breast to accommodate a wider range of chest sliders, a great idea imo but makes re-texturing the nipple area more of a pain ;;

As an aside, looking forward to maybe having a dedicated ATLYSS thread / repository on site, as I refuse to use discord for modding resources (paid releases are a different matter) for any game bc I regardless of whatever moderation at play, the sequestering of modding know-how to the cesspool of discord chat rooms is a tragedy.

However, you do need to share your age before you can access the nsfw channels.

Making a new server is fine, but it would be better to not spread ourselves too thin.


EDIT: I am also planning on making a new version of the hellfire imp and nipple tape mods soon. These next versions will not only be usable on the steam build, but the latter mod will also be separate from the player themself.

 Someone is making it in the R18+ Unofficial Atlyss server (the one that one random guy refuses to join because he's got a hate boner for some random moderator) that was linked on the first page.    
I can't recall who is making it, but it is in progress.

It's been done for several days, you'll have to add the texture to the resources.assets file yourself, though. All the files are on the R18+ Discord linked in the first page.

Just informing you that SomebodySomeone wasn't the one who got the textures, it was a user from the R18+ Discord named Cowpybara, they were the first one to post the textures for everyone to use.

Ah someone responded while I was playing with it, sally nude mod looks plausible, the apron can be removed with the same model deletion trick as angela's skirt and then I think her skin can be drawn over the clothing layer underneath.

Sorry but the files and instructions you sent didn't work out for me. Couldn't install it on the old 3.4.8a version to extract the pngs and use those in the 1.5.0b.
If you could extract the textures in question or provide me a modified assets file from the old version I could make the file for 1.5.0b.

Part of me wonders if the emip files were changed between versions to be different- which would mean that such would need remade for current versions from scratch before we could ever hope to see it again.

There's an entirely nude Angela model, but the creator hasn't been able to figure out a good way to turn it into a mod.. so they've made it available for more experienced modders to wrangle it.

Here's a link to the FBX file, if anyone has the know-how!

I installed the first one and like the guide said, all I did was replace resources.assets in ATLYSS\ATLYSS_Data\

To clarify- if your running the Itch.IO build of the game... you cannot use some of the texture replacement mods available here as that version of the game is an older one relative to the steam build- which is what many of these mods are built for. Aka- texture replacement mods that replace textures in the resources.assets file are not interchangeable.

All of the texture files were named improperly. The mod requires exact matches for the images to load.

 

Example:

should be

Ah makes sense, I was trying to run it on the itch.io version. Thanks for clarifying
