Ashenthorn Posted August 28, 2024 Posted August 28, 2024 I accidentally assigned my janitor my stripper outfit. It appears that there's no way to revert it to the default. I tried designing a new outfit for the particular janitor, and basically just chose her default everyday outfit in the Strip Club design outfit CAS. This didn't work. Is there a cheat to remove all designed/assigned stripper outfits? I liked the fact that the NPC janitors wore the NPC janitor outfits by default. A button to choose "None" or "Default" in the create/assign outfits dialogs would be nice - or am I missing something?
Crashdown117 Posted August 28, 2024 Posted August 28, 2024 I don't think that there's a command to reset outfit presets and I'm not sure if there's a way to make the NPC janitor outfit visible in CAS (other than using S4S to create a little mod maybe). But since the outfit that a strip club janitor wears is their career outfit, you can always use the good old "Outfit Tools" mod by the great Scumbumbo and achieve what you want with only a few little console commands. The mod is still confirmed working with the latest game version according to the Scumbumbo "memorial" website (https://scumbumbomods.com/#/outfit-tools-copy-any-outfit/) and the download link there will take you to the original mod page at MTS (https://modthesims.info/d/541770/outfit-tools-copy-any-outfit-v4.html) where the mod commands and their usage is explained in detail. Still, don't hesitate to ask if anything is unclear. Now, to get your janitor their original uniform back, all you need to do is open up another strip club and hire a janitor there (preferably with the same gender and clothing style settings as the one that has been forced to walk around looking like a stripper), then copy the other janitor's career outfit over to the career outfit slot of your unfortuate janitor. The command (run while controlling the janitor that already has the proper uniform) will be something like outfit.copy ca 1 to <insert janitor name> ca 1, but please check the mod description to be sure. Also note that this, as well as editing Sim career outfits through MC Command Center, will allow you to create individual career outfits for any employee at your strip club, regardless of how many presets you have created / available. 1
Ashenthorn Posted September 1, 2024 Author Posted September 1, 2024 Wow. Thanks for the detailed reply and ideas to try, Crash! It's a shame that it's such a huge pain in the ass to do something that seems pretty simple. Hopefully there will be better control over stripper outfits in WW in the future. I just started messing with strip clubs in WW so it's not a big deal to just sell and buy a new club and start over. Quote I'm not sure if there's a way to make the NPC janitor outfit visible in CAS (other than using S4S to create a little mod maybe). I have the "CAS Parts" CC that has all the Maxis NPC/Career outfits available in CAS, so that's an easier fix than installing another mod and using the console. But I WILL probly check out Outfit Tools mod at some point. I'm currently rebuilding a clean save after the latest update, and I like to run as few mods as possible. It's been a while since I messed with MC Command Center because I found it was overkill and a lot of duplicated functionality for how I usually play - especially with the built-in functionality of the latest WW and UI cheats. Here's what I run for my basic WW games: Mods folder: UI Cheats extension/scripts Tmex Always Full Edit/Testing Wild Guy's Female Body Details folder WickedWhims ww_animations folder Misc Clothes cc folder Misc Objects cc folder Fast loads, zero conflicts, clean UI, lots of control. Thanks again for the reply! 1
