Arroused Creatures only working on male creatures?

Right now, for some strange reason. Only Male creatures chase me and not both female and male. What could be the issue?

 

I have it set to both genders and have it set so they're attracted to both.

I would assume perhaps AC was going for some kind of realism. I mean what did you expect to have happen once a cow (female elk) for instance catches up with you? Does it sprout a dong go to town on ya? As far as I know this question is as old as MNC. I recall there was some talk of modding the game to only spawn male creatures, but there was some issue with that. Like I said, old as the stoneage, I don't remember the details anymore.

 

Edit: I suppose instead of realism what might be happening is, that AC figures out that the female creature is not a valid actor so it doesn't even bother with a chase scene. Try starting an animation with one using Match Maker. Check the Papyrus log afterwards to see why it failed.

You would need suitable animations for starters.
