using sky ae for modded sky

everything in the pinned post by tasairis that is green will work (Most LE mods have an AE version), and take a look at Aylis's guide (but feel free to skip the dyndolod section unless you are very familiar with dyndolod) 

 

Check that the game works with the basic utilities (SKSE, address library, papyrus, spell perk item, consoleutilSSE NG) and has a quick start (USSEP + AlternateStartLiveAnotherLife) to quickly create new playthroughs. Or use a nexus collection like https://next.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/collections/xk05aw?tab=mods

 

If you are converting from Skyrim LE, you need to be very diligent that mods are the AE/SE version, so all animation packs need to be SE. If FNIS warns something isn't SE compatible, then check the animation packs. Most packs are converted, the only challenging ones I've encountered are the komotor animations.

The first part of the sentence doesn't make sense. The fact that you have not done any research will not help.
