How to work with the NIF plugin for 3DS Max?

I'm trying to change FG's body. I installed the plugin for 3D max 2015. I import the model and immediately have 2 problems:

1) After importing, I cannot save the body. It turns out an error and a crash. How to save?
2) Despite the fact that there is no skeleton, I get a body with modifiers (in the list of applied modifiers) and I cannot apply “editable poly” to it. How can I apply "editable poly" without breaking the body model?

I came across several manuals for this plugin. but none of them answered my question.

Hi, maybe I'd try another section like:    Home  - Fallout 4  - Fallout 4 Technical Support

 

Just out of curiosity what are you trying to do?  I don't have much experience, but I would like to help.

 

I've already done some FG body modifications, simpler things can easily be done by OutfitStudio. I did more complex things in Blender with the nifly plugin.

 

Unfortunately, I have no experience with 3DS Max.
