urielmanx7 Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 Hi, my problem is that at some point (and only god knows what mod was the culprit) the text on the skills got screwed and now is just random bull, any ideas what type of mods cause this? myuhinny Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 Is the text in a different langue? If that is the case that can be caused by a ini file from a mod that you installed like mods from 3dm. I installed a mod quite awhile ago and found a ini file that was placed in the wrong place so I placed it where it needed to go after that everything from the start page to the inventory pages all words started with a $. So if that is the problem then you would have to try to search and find that one.

So if that is the problem then you would have to try to search and find that one. No, it's random gibberish, like numbers, or just 2 chars, and even swap skill names.
myuhinny Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 It's hard to say it might be coming from a .ini file or if a mod that you download and install the person that made the mod used a different version of skyrim or they left pieces of their version in the mod (IE) Russian Chinese and so forth. That gibberish might in fact be a different langue and the only way to fix it is to find that mod and turn it off. I have seen many times where items/doors and such get weird characters squares and what not and most of them are just a different langue.
