Nazguli Tyvek Posted July 3, 2024 Posted July 3, 2024 As the title suggests I'm currently playing the sims and I'm curious about adding the MC Command Center to the short list of mods in my game. However, I'm having issues with discord so, I figured I'd put them here and hopefully someone with experience with the mod can help me out. I'm looking for a mod that'll slowly yet autonomously change the sim world giving the illusion of people living their lives. For example, sims getting married, having kids, joining clubs, moving in with each other, etc. To my knowledge this mod allows for that. However, does it do it for active families as well non-active families or can specific families be exempt from this? The mod mentions marriage and kids but (to my knowledge) says nothing of divorce. Does that mean that whenever a sim gets married this mod will never break them up autonomously? Is this mod supposed to run in the background or am I supposed to see the events in the sim world? For example, will I start to see sims proposing to other sims or will I just start getting notifications? With the autonomous aspects of this mod, specifically the population and marriage, while I'm playing the game will my Sims (NPC) boyfriend/girlfriend take the initiative and propose marriage to my sim? Will I see a random pop-up asking if my sim wants to get married?
snowdog04 Posted July 4, 2024 Posted July 4, 2024 (edited) Ok, I'll go through these one at a time: It will get sims married, and married couples will move in together. Single females will become pregnant, with a single male listed as the father. Married females will also get pregnant, but the father will always be her husband. If you see a married female who is pregnant by someone other than her husband, it got her pregnant and then she married. It will NOT do anything to any household that is active, or that is currently marked "Played." It won't do anything with clubs though. No autonomous divorce, as far as I know. I haven't looked at the settings in a long time, so it's possible that might be something that can be turned on. It does these things in the background, and you won't even get notifications. You'll just see Katrina Caliente walking down the street, and realize she has a new last name. MCCC won't make your boyfriend/girlfriend propose. However, High School Years maybe? The game itself without mods will sometimes make that happen. I think the pack that added that was HSY. I recently had a game where Caleb Vatore fell madly in love with my sim, asked to move in the night they met, and proposed the next day. Anyway, you should totally get MCCC, because it does LOTS of awesome things. Edited July 4, 2024 by snowdog04 2

Gambit Posted September 16, 2024 Posted September 16, 2024 Event (death, marriage...) are random. And it seems it doesn't take too much in consideration sims personality. But you've more control than EA SimS4 Neighbor stories.
