adle Posted June 26, 2024 Posted June 26, 2024 Hello its me again. i am still working on my scene and try to add player dialogue into the scene. Therefore i watched some videos and read trough the world wide web. I noticed, if i simply add dialogue to the player alias of the scene, this dialogue wont play. Found a video where the is an tick box inside of CK - Scene window to activate player dialogue. Spoiler This picture is from a video. My CK actually looks like this: Spoiler How do i create player dialogue without that?
traison Posted June 27, 2024 Posted June 27, 2024 (edited) I've stayed away from scenes. The UI looks... unusable. I've created player dialogue using simple dialogue topics instead. But this is not helpful in your case. Edited June 27, 2024 by traison
Gristle Posted July 1, 2024 Posted July 1, 2024 I just make a stage in the scene (add stage to end), add an actor to the stage, then right click to add dialogue in the actor box, and then add a dialogue topic in that box that pops up. No need to add any conditions to the dialogue topic. The scene takes care of the rest.
