Female taking on male roles in animations

Hi all,

Has anyone had this problem before, my female character is always taking on the male role in animations with a strap on. I have checked every setting I can but not able work this out.

Seeing if anyone has had this issue before and know what caused it?

I use the usual mods, Baka defeat, creature mods, animations, can provide more info if needed. I've used all these same mods before without issue.

It is not a problem, it is the way other mods use SexLab. Let me explain.

SexLab is a framework, that is, it is a mod that other mods use so that they don't have to build everything from scratch when they run. So, SexLab does sex animations, ZAP (largely) does furniture, Devious Devices does, well, devices, and so on.

That is to say that SexLab puts characters in the positions that the mods that call them tell them to be in. I have found that using my mod, Some Consensual Sex, as an example helps to clarify this. When I originally did the mod I set it up so that, when SexLab was called, the player would be in the "male" positions in the animations. I did this because so many mods put the player in the "female" position. After being asked by a number of friends I put out a second version of my mod which places the player in the "female" position. It's basically the same mod, only where the PC and NPC are placed is changed when SexLab is called. This shows, I hope, that your "problem" is simply the mods that you are using to call SexLab and NOT SexLab itself (or even what you are doing wrong).

Finally, the simplest way of dealing with your issue is to use the hotkey (+/=). When an animation begins and the actors are in the opposite positions from the one that you want simply hit the hotkey and they will reverse position. It's simple, if a bit annoying.
