Death_Revan Posted June 16, 2024 Posted June 16, 2024 Hi Guys, Â I've been steadily adding mods to my AE. And some of mods I want require sexlabs to be installed, which seem to require SkyUI and SKSE to be installed. I've scoured the internet to find a solution. But it seems that SKSE and SkyUI are not compatible with it., these two plugins are only be compatible with GOG and steam version of the game. Is there a way around this? Currently the error I get is "Outdated or none Skyrim install detected. SexLab currently requires Skyrim V1.6 or newer in order to function. To continue using this mod; you must update your install and reload your game." Â Any useful help will be appreciated.
kamoewarrior Posted June 16, 2024 Posted June 16, 2024 I do not think that is possible. If I remember correctly gamepass version has the same restrictions that console versions have. This prevents using script based mods or something like that.
Death_Revan Posted June 16, 2024 Author Posted June 16, 2024 I didn't receive the error until I updated to the AE version. The SE didn't give me an error but I hadn't used this use the mod long enough to see if the animations ran. I didn't expect the upgrade to break it. nor did I expect that if something went wrong I wouldn't be able to uninstall the AE version..

SKSE only supports Steam and GOG versions. So any version of the gamepass is incompatible with SKSE and thus very restricted in terms of mods. There is no workaround really. Maybe try a refund and get the game in a supported platform.
