justanothercreeper Posted June 12, 2024 Posted June 12, 2024 (edited) I've been trying to get Skyrim SE to boot for almost two whole days now. I am almost at the finish line but one problem is keeping me stuck. I don't know what it could be. Here's my load order please help. I am on version 1.6.1170.0 EudFd9LW.txt Edited June 13, 2024 by justanothercreeper
traison Posted June 13, 2024 Posted June 13, 2024 You neglected the warnings from FNIS. Fix them all, and things will animate again.

Looked around a bit, removed a mod that FNIS warned me about, didn't work. Ran FNIS as admin from my root file, didn't work. Then I ran FNIS as admin from my root, with no patches selected, then ran it again with the patches it requested and BOOM! It all worked. Skyrim is a tricky little bastard.

Skyrim is a tricky little bastard. So several straws grasped at and a couple of stabs in the dark and bingo! You 'fixed' it. "Skyrim is a tricky little bastard"? Nothing to do with user error then? 2 hours ago, justanothercreeper said: Looked around a bit, You should have done this before posting. 2 hours ago, justanothercreeper said: removed a mod that FNIS warned me about, You should have addressed this warning before posting. The warning is given for a reason. Ignoring them is stupid. 2 hours ago, justanothercreeper said: Ran FNIS as admin from my root file, didn't work. No idea what your 'root file' is but you should be running a properly setup FNIS from your mod manager. 2 hours ago, justanothercreeper said: Then I ran FNIS as admin from my root, with no patches selected, Why? Generally speaking, FNIS always requires at least the skeleton arm fix patch ticked. The others are only needed if you run mods which need them. 2 hours ago, justanothercreeper said: ran it again with the patches it requested and BOOM! It all worked. Would you Adam and Eve it?

Did you normally come into solved issues to insult the people who post them?

There are several things that one could learn from my post. Perhaps they will help somebody in the future.
