CBBE bodies reverting to default during sex animations

new to modding my problem is exactly what the title says: this is what my chars (serana and valerica) look like with their cbbe bodies https://imgur.com/a/e4hORBC with serana having the diamond preset included in the trueblood serana mod whilst valerica has the preset from the lust of a mother mod. And this is what they look like when initiating sex (see attachment) Any help would be appreciated! Much love

Iirc, there is option in sexlab mcm to use default bodies. Uncheck it

The only thing i was able to find in the sexlab mcm is the “use nude suit for male/female” which was already disabled. I tried ticking it on and it only made actors in animation floating heads and limbs. I’ll keep looking though

Trueblood Serana.

On the mod page there are two Main Files - A does not include any body meshes while B does. I can't see if B includes Bodyslide files as the view contents function isn't working. The Serana body in the screenshots and the video looks more or less the same as your Serana.

 

Lust of a Mother.

This mod does not include any meshes so will just use your default body.

I have no problems with serana being as is but how do I make Valerica 1:1 with the preset? How would I go about making the mesh and installing it?

The simplest way would be to install a Bodyslide preset which makes your default female body the shape you want. That would affect all females though. To do just Valerica would involve quite a lot of work in XEdit changing file paths and whatnot.

A compromise option would be to use a Bodyslide preset which had a good range of shape between 0 and 100. This would still affect all females but assuming Serana and Valerica are different weights they would look different.

oh i already fixed the problem, brute forced my way to fixing it as a matter of fact 😂 just guessed my way to rightness by looking at wherever the meshes/nif files built by bodyslide goes to, copied it and placed it on firstly the trueblood serana mod folder, and idk exactly how and where i placed valerica's meshes i just searched up "valerica" in my mods folder til i saw one that had pre-existing nif files to which i replaced it with.

None of that makes much sense.

 

Which Bodyslide meshes did you put in the Serana mod folder? Are you using the Serana (A) file? The (B) file does not have a folder for body meshes and its esp will probably not have any entries for them. The same with Valerica - she does not have a folder for meshes and her esp will not have the paths.

i remembered that i did have a valerica replacer mod and that was the seranaholic one, i placed the nif files in the meshes file there and for trueblood serana, i downloaded the A version and just replaced the meshes there with the diamond body preset. you are spot on when you said that it does not make much sense bc I can't understand how i did it too but it works now and I guess that's all that matters for  me.

So you used a completely different Valerica mod and you installed the Serana one correctly.
