FNIS Not recognising Sexlab (Linux)

It is legal, it just is stupid.

That's not the correct folder. It should be common\Skyrim Special Edition\data\tools\GenerateFNIS_forUser\etc.

Your path includes \Mods and a folder with the full name of the file with id, version and all. That's a wrong install in any kind of setup (Windows, Linux, Vortex, MO2, manual, any type of install). Reinstall the mod following the available instructions. Until then FNIS won't recognize any mod, not only SL.

You could perhaps maybe get around whatever issue you're having there (be it wrongly installed or limitations imposed by the setup etc.) by changing the cwd to the Skyrim data directory. If that does not work as-is, consider running FNIS through ltrace and see if it tells you where its trying to find animation lists (FNIS_*_List.txt) and adjust the cwd accordingly.

 

Still though, I'd recommend you try what @Just Don't said first. Consider my suggestion a "plan B".
