What specific modifications did you make

nothing big, if u just use the Components-3 t=423ec9ce file posted before, there are still some transparent stocking tan line if u zoom very closely + the skin tone colour look brighter, so i edited the missing files to remove it and make the skin colour more accurate with the body.

Cartethyia animated hentai portrait for the team menu.

FU6ckSp.gif

Full res preview and download - All the other portrait mods can be found linked on my profile.

If it's too big, then you can just delete whichever animations you don't want to downsize it. Delete > Press F10 > Done.

Install: Merge the mods folder with your mods folder, replace anything it asks you to replace (If you've installed another one of my mods), that's it.

Controls:
Swap animation - C + Up arrow

image.png.5172b5868dc5786ef2f8029da94f4083.png

If it looks frozen, Ctrl + R to reset it, 99% of the time that will fix it.

I feel like this is one is kind of a losing battle what with Cartethyia and Fleurdelys appealing to 2 very different audiences. I kinda selfishly made this around my preference which is Cartethyia, so there's a lot more of her compared to Fleurdelys and since I did the material gathering before the banner dropped (because I wanted to release this earlier) I honestly don't think I got all that great material for Fleurdelys, so sorry to the big mommy enjoyers.

On another note, Sins' updated the randomiser a while back and all of my portrait mods needed to be updated to account for the new version so if you're using the old ones, I'd recommend re-downloading them, they're all linked here. Ciaccona has been fixed and I've added the hashes for Carlotta and Changli's new skins. Enjoy~

Tackling difficulty first.

A lot of tech in ini modding can just be copied, so you don't need a deep understanding of how X Y and Z works to copy a block of text from one file to another and have it work. That's almost certainly how kongxinrumeng manages to make his mods; copy Zlevir's menu code >  setup the resource values > copy the button drawing code until you have enough buttons > add the variables for each button and attach them to the slots (This is literally just renaming and more copy and paste) > Bam, you're done.

I can make it sound easy by listing it like that, but the difficulty comes in having the baseline ini literacy to understand what you're actually looking at. Zlevir's code isn't annotated to handhold a prospective user through the process of understanding it precisely, it's named so he and other modders with his level of knowledge can work on it without issue. If you can't even tell what you're looking at, then you can't begin the process to understand which parts need to be moved and modified, it's a baseline knowledge requirement that has no clear path to achieving.

I was able to do it because I've pissed around with inis for nearly 2 years now, from the lowest level basics to writing my own time based animation code. I have NO background in programming and 0 coding knowledge, but I tinkered enough that I got used to the "flow" of an ini and gained to ability to intuit how things work in a macro sense even if I have no idea how certain things specifically work.

Ultimately, the barrier to entry requires that baseline ini knowlege I mentioned earlier which most modders don't have and if you're not a fan of stealing someone else's work, then you'll also need your own set of menu graphic resources which puts the amount of time, effort and brain power beyond the scope of what most modders would want to do when they could simply settle for the current standard of toggles.

If a script(s) came into existence that could streamline the process, I could see it becoming more popular, but tech tends to trickle down VERY slowly in this modding community.

Thank you for taking the time to explain. I almost feel tempted to start cracking these ini codes myself to be able to do that.

I had to turn off bloom setting so ciaccona nude body is visible. It was too bright. Wouldn't the rabbitfx affect mods in similar way? Im not a pro at pc stuff so i might some setting wrong cause bloom to behave like that

RabbitFX doesn't add any glow by itself. Basically RabbitFx is a resource for modders wanting to add glow to skins (and is a requirement for players using such mods), it just also happens to allow you to disable the censor filter because it's incompatible with other mods that remove the censor filter. So as long as you don't use such mods you can just treat RabbitFX as a censor remover with some future proofing if you happen to pick up a mod that requires it.

Do you know if the update lowlinpc was to add something or just to make it compatible with version 2.4?

mods that dont have rabbit fx functionality built in will not be affected. only mods that have rabbit fx built in mind/integrated in will be affected. for example that cart mod that gives her the glowing crown.

no RabbitFX = No glow on mods that want it.

speaking of which...

imma bout to drop a xiangli yao texture edit i made with rabbitFX
