yes, the upper color is red while bottom is pastel pink which also removed the original details, I could tech make textures to unify and make the coloring better, which i might do

There were simple solutions, but me being me, I wanted to "do it right" and that meant 2d texture arrays for easy expandability without needing to fuck around with the ini all that much. I hunted all the 1440p hashes as well so it'll work in all regions with either 1080p or 1440p. Sorry I don't have a 4k monitor.

 

Here's a look at the sort of quality, it randomises every time you activate a loading screen and it's not dependant on whichever loading screen is loaded like the current one on GB. If you double tap F6, you'll cycle the image which was originally a bug, but I figured would be a decent feature so I left it in. No need for Splash.ini or anything, it's built in already.

Rather than just throwing some random set of art and saying "This is what you get," I've left the tools necessary for you to make your own randomised background, I hope it's easy enough to follow. Enjoy~

 

 

Oh I also updated Scoob's existing loading screen mod with all the 1440p hashes if you just wanna stick with that mod. I don't mind, this was a project for me first and foremost.

hey man, thanks for the contribution. It works great in terms of functionality. A minor problem though: during normal gameplay, the frame rate drops every few seconds. I don't know if it's bc I merged too many images (170) or bc the images' resolution is just too big for the quantity (all 1440p). Any advices would be appreciated!

My advice would be: Gimmie a couple days, I just cracked the code on combining both static and animated backgrounds together and I'm planning on releasing an ultimate loading screen builder package that has everything needed plus hopefully the optimisations that should fix your performance issues. 

 

It can do only static backgrounds and only animated ones, or a mixture of both, so this is meant as a replacement for both of the background mods I released before, hence why I haven't updated either of those.

 

The package itself is fully functional, I just need to make some ini templates, do some edge case testing, hunt all the new backgrounds with the new areas and learn FFMPEG so I can write new instructions that don't demand you get photoshop if you wanna make animated backgrounds for yourself, then wrap all of the above into one nice and neat bundle. 

 

 

Also if you don't wanna wait for me, the new hashes are b0b57cdf for 1080 and 759364f3 for 1440.
