Quick update on the team portrait mods.

I've spent the last hour or two with finding, unpacking and adding all the dds files into the final folders.
No completed ini files yet, since I need to name and test all of the dds files as well as remove a couple double pictures (they look quite similar and I need to see which ones fit better)

I've managed to make it so that the portraits only change while they are on screen, that makes it possible for me to add a "toggle system", which I will add and refine at a later point.

(It will be something simple so you can easily remember which keys will toggle what kind of portrait)

The biggest problem is actually the amount of pictures I have. (Some characters like Jinhsi for example, will have up to 18 toggles)

I've left in all pictures (as long as it's not a straight up copy), even pictures I personally don't like.

Also, I believe I accidentally removed a picture and can't find it anymore.

But it was for Lingyang sooo, who cares?

Given the total amount of pictures, I most likely will need another day or two to completely finish the final product.

One last thing, I plan on adding a simple readme file in which I will write down the toggles and a simple guide on how to remove a specific picture out of an ini file, so you can easily remove any picture you don't like. (Again the dds files themselves will be named based on how they look in game)

(Edit: The total size of the portrait mod is 438mb as of writing this)

(Second edit: Since I'll be working on the portraits for a while now, if anyone has any specific pictures they'd like me to add to the collection, please send them to me either directly or in this forum, since I'm checking this daily for the time being. Please note that I don't have any experience in digital design and I might not be able to perfectly incorporate the picture in-game, but I will try my best)

I believe this is not a grid, but an indication of transparency. I think this should be at 100%. If you want to turn off  the transparency indication maybe look in preferences. I suppose you can also create a layer temporarily, fill it with white, and move it to the bottom layer, so you can edit. Then probably delete it before exporting.

this is the alpha layer, and some programs you can set the alpha temporarily as transparency (ps intel dds plugin) which helps alot while editing textures as it makes the texture not half transparent, not all details are visible in the alpha layer sometimes unless you set it as transparency temp while editing (my experience in texture edits)

Quick end of the day update.

So far I've finished 9 out of 28 Characters. There are a couple pictures that aren't dds files, which I will convert once I've finished all the characters.

I've also gotten a lot quicker overall, so I might be able to finish all characters by tomorrow, but I'll most likely still need until the day after.

The finished characters are: Aalto, Baizhi, Calcharo, Camellya, Carlotta, Changli, Chixia, Danjin and Encore.

I also finally figured out how to add an option to go to the last picture, instead of just toggling forwards.

Again, If anyone wants to have a specific picture they want me to add, please send them to me within the next two days, so I can immediately add them.

this is really nice, i like the tattoos

the top and underboob is great 😍

if you were to eventually add a toggle, maybe add variations of:
thigh highs, fishnet (like your camellya), short shorts on bare legs along with the high heels

these are just my thoughts, you dont need to do them  :' )

In Adjustments I found this "Invert Alpha" funktion and it makes the Image clearer, is this what you meant?
