They're not transparent, it's baked into the texture to look transparent, you could open it up in something like paintnet and remove it by editing that bit out.

oh thanks for the answer.. i have never done something like that, do you know which file i nned to change for that? or how i can find the right one?

or if anyone can help change colors in this customized mod? tried mixing available mods to try to recreate it and ended up with this.  it has the toggle and pony tail but need to change colors from pink to black or ice blue. color changer mod is no longer available in game banana.

Quick report.

 

So GB user scoop1098 has been making a bunch of UI mods recently, conveniently gathering a bunch of hashes in the process. Me being me, I figured I'd see about the animation potential and managed to get the general UI shader working with frame counting for 2d texture arrays, and thus my method of "animated gifs" is now possible for menu assets. 

 

I've done 2 examples for the moment, first is the BP screen where the weapons usually are, and 2nd is the Avatar Icon in the main pause menu.

It should be plausible for me to make animated mods for a lot of things, basically most of the menu backgrounds as well as loading screens now that those hashes have been found too, but I'm only personally interested in the two assets I already tested with, so I'm here to gauge interest if anyone wants me to make some animated something for them over these assets or any of the other menu assets. 

 

 

 

A few more details for the nerds.

 

Animated background mods for shop menus aren't really plausible since the menus are opaque, they're doable in theory but you'd only ever be seeing the outside of the image, it's better to either leave them stock or just stick with a static image to save on resources, you can see it clearly with the Changli background in the BP menu. 

Some of the backgrounds are also weirdly picky about resolution and don't wanna work consistently, this is something I haven't been able to crack yet and would take time to ensure that it's working for animations specifically, it's probably better to just stick to the static stuff for them, especially since animations in 16:9 that need to scale to potentially 1440p would be VERY big in terms of file size. It's just kinda impractical at the moment, not impossible, but impractical. 

The Skill and Forte icons is something I'm very unsure about for the moment as all of the icons are collected into a single sheet rather than individual files per icon, which isn't something I've had to work with before and thus modding 1 icon would mean modding all of them for a single characters set of skills. Potentially doable and for something that's on screen a lot of the time, but something that's potentially impractical to make and might just not work at all.

 

All of that is why I only chose the 2 assets that I did, but I'm definitely gonna try to make a loading screen mod and I'm open to whatever requests I may receive here, for science if nothing else, so feel free to ask if you're interested.

Would it be possible to make animated mods/replace the artwork for the character head shots on the party UI? I haven't seen that done since the 1.0 version

I'm from Russia too. Boosty is an analogue of Patreon since patreon  is blocked for us. Its totally safe and many modders do have their pages there, be it WUW or Skyrim or any other bloggers who want to monetize.

Yes but not to the specific characters in question.... well I mean maybe there's a way but it would require some really annoying hash detection shit to determine exactly who is on screen and in which slot to properly load the icon, not to mention I don't just how scrambled the hashes are between all 3 character icons so it'd be a pretty tough job. I'll put it on my reminders as something to look into when I get REALLY bored but no promises.

Lot might not be very happy with Sherry now, Doing this for mods is a huge no-no as it makes them a Pay to view concept and maybe some link changing bullshit like what some Pay walled mods do...

 

I think theres a file for this saved somewhere on the Arca site?
