10 years of asking - Why are here no lootable underwear mods?

After a thirty minute plunge through Google I'm realizing we still don't have a lootable underwear mod

 

I'm in it for immersion, so nude bodies is great but everyone in the wasteland going commando is not

 

Is there any combination of mods that give NPCs lootable underwear. They should be wearing underwear when you take their armor. They should have an item representing underwear that you can loot. They should be nude when you loot their underwear.

Skyrim has their version too

Sorry, but this thread just reminds me of my time on "Project Zomboid" when looting pretty undies from dead zombie chicks for my actress was my top priority - There was a "panty sniffing mod" that would either give you a bit of a cheap thrill or make you feel sick (depending on the aroma). 😁

The immersive answer to this is that, in the wasteland, people have been wearing their crusty old underwear for so long that it has effectively melded with the outerwear and become one piece. To get the underwear back, simply wash everything in a hydrochloric acid bath until they separate from the pants and/or skirt.

Actually, I think the reason that there are no mods for NPCs wearing underwear under their clothing is because of the game mechanics. There are only so many clothing slots associated with the characters in game. There are slots for headgear, eyewear, necklaces, body, feet, and hands. If you were to designed or tried to use some existing underwear mod, I don't think a character could put them on without taking off the suit of clothes they were already wearing.
