Custom follower's body when wearing clothes looks different compare to naked body

I'm using cbbe 3ba and my custom follower's body does match with the naked body when wearing clothes as you can see in the screenshots. I assure you guys that I build cbbe 3bbb body amazing in bodyslide and batchbuild all my mods and my Player Character doesn't have this problem.

Hope you guys help me.

Completely normal - because the clothing will have a different body template than the companion's naked body

Does the companion bring their own clothes in the corresponding mod and can they be adjusted in Bodyslide?

Does the companion even have its own body template... or does it use the player's template - but with a different "body weight"?

There is no clothes coming with the mod, my follower is completely naked when I first launch the game and I have to put clothes from other mods
For the latter, I don't know if it has its own template or not, how can I check it, I download the mod on patreon so there are no description about it

I personally don't know about completely naked companions - they're actually always wearing something... but it's possible that this one is "delivered" like that (i.e. his preview pictures on the mod page only show him naked)

Otherwise you have simply forgotten to build your clothes in "Bodyslide" - as long as the mod provides the necessary bodyslide files

You yourself have chosen a very special “race” (I just say -> “Manga eyes”)

Is your own avatar and ultimately all other NPCs in your game also of this particular "race"?

If not - then of course you have a big problem... see your pictures

But in order to be able to adapt "foreign" clothing (i.e. those from other mods) to a "special" companion (in Bodyslide) - the body template used is required... this can also be found (if available) in the Bodyslide under "present" (2nd line on the left)

I myself have companions - who bring their own "template" with them... but be careful -> the clothes "created" in this way only fit this companion

(for me this is e.g. through the mod "Vampyra" -> "Custom-Present-Vampyra")

Go to your followers mod file, find

femalebody_0.nif

femalebody_1.nif

femalefeet_0.nif

femalefeet_1.nif

femalehands_0.nif

femalehands_1.nif

 

Replace these mesh files with your own meshes. They should be in Skyrim special edition/data/meshes/actors/character/character assets

This should fix your issue I think.

That will accomplish nothing. The problem is the outfit not the body. If the outfit doesn't have the necessary Bodyslide files then it cannot be made to fit the body.

User says there is no problem on the player character. Also says batchbuilded all mods so probably it is caused by using a standalone follower that doesn't match to whatever body is used as vanilla replacer.

Considering that it fits player character it should have bodyslide files.

The OP posted a screenshot of the naked follower showing that she has the 3ba body. She has the 3ba body because the OP built the body in BS. The clothed follower does not have the 3ba body because the outfit has not been built to the 3ba body. Have you never heard the saying "In Skyrim you are what you wear" in relation to outfits?

Thanks, it works ( kinda ) but not in the way that I wanted. The follower is now flat-chested like the first screenshot but I want her to be more busty ( like the 2nd screenshot ). Is there way to fix this.

 Note that use mo2 so I can't find the directory you said, instead I open the CBBE 3BA folder and find the nif files inside to replace those of my follower. Also , when I open the female body_0 and _1.nif files in outfit studio, the body is the same as the screenshot unlike my PC, I think that I build with the CBBE Curvy preset so my PC look different.

Also also, my PC use teraelin race but the follower use vanilla race (Nord), I think this help somehow

Except weight, body of follower should be now exactly same as your PC. It may be a bit different because you r using custom race or because of a custom skeleton, I don't know. 

But if you don't use a busty bodyslide preset for your PC, follower will not have busty body too. Best way to deal with this is using Obody so you can distribute different bodyslide presets to both npcs and PC including busty preset. This is exactly what I'm doing most time.

 

Also does 3ba outfits fit the follower body now? if so you v done it correctly what I mentioned on my last post

You made the exact suggestion - which produced the absolutely undesirable result... that the player avatar is flat-chested and she wanted a busty companion.

As I have already written - for the result desired by the theme creator, the desired clothing in Bodyslide must be linked to the companion's body template.

Looking at your screenshot again it seems to me that the follower is child-sized and quite possible flagged as a child so that could be why your adult clothes are not working.

thanks guys for helping me out, and also I think I solved the flat-chested problem now. I just found this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/19353?tab=posts that can open racemenu on npcs, though you can't edit on vanilla clothes. Luckily, I have already install vanilla clothes replacer
