What is the best arousal mod as of 2024?

There are several mods that replace the venerable Sexlab Aroused mod. So, I was wondering which ones people are using in their playthroughs, and how well they work in terms of stability, and compatibility mostly.

Here are the ones I know about:

Some seem to be updated for the latest versions of the game while some others are only for 1.5.97.

Which one do you use? What's your experience with it?

Seems you are listing LE, SE & AE do you play all three or are you looking for an Arousal mod for a specific version.

Confusing to say the least.

It depends on what your main sex mod is (and as @Raven 54 said, what version you play). If OStim is your thing, well, you're not gonna use a Sexlab arousal mod (and vice versa).

Thanks for your answers! Right now, I use SE 1.5.97 though I'm not opposed to updating. Any other opinions on the original quesion?

I can't say it's "the best,," but I use Sexlab Aroused Redux SSE Version 29 2.9, Skyrim version 1.6.1130, and I popped for the full AE when it was on sale a while back. I'm not a fan of Ostim (which is not a knock on Ostim or on those who like it, just my preference).

I use Aroused NG and it works well, it was harsh to find the good modlist order, but when it works it's cool. It's compatible with the last Conditionnal Expression Extended too, and it works fine with SLSO and Orgasm Adventures.

My final step will be Sexlab P+, but I'm affraid to lost a lot of compatibilty. :/

SLAX-ASA3 seems to be the most stable version for all versions of the game.

I have never stumbled upon this version before and I am using regular SLAX version with scripts overwrtitten by CumSwallowNeeds (or something). I followed the discussion, seems the author has been trying to fix a lot of issues I myself noticed. Question though: does this version have Baka keywords support?

@Hex Bolt i see you were involved. I consider you a sort of authority, would you recommend this version over regular SLAX?

Yes, this version has baka keyword support.

Thank you.

I have SLSO and Hakkey Tweaks overwriting some of the scripts though as in the old installation. Not sure if those are the same scripts that were corrected in this version. Do you have any idea if those should be forwarded from SLAX or should I stick with SLSO overwriting things as per usual?

As I see it, the advantage of SLAX-ASA3 is mainly for non-LE players because it removes the DLL from SLAX, freeing it from dependency on any game version.  It seems to be widely used and to have good compatibility with mods.  SLAX-ASA3 also adds enhancements to the scan rate, though some of that you can do yourself in the SLAX MCM (the defaults in SLAR/SLAX are really bad, geared toward computers that were slow a decade ago).  On LE, which I think you're using (I might be mistaken), SLAX should be a little faster, but performance doesn't seem to be a problem with SLAX-ASA3.

SLAX-ASA3 must overwrite SLSO. Hakkey tweak I don't know this mod.

I'm on downgraded SE 1.5.97 without any CC content. And my PC is over a decade old.
