Body custom sliders for all vanilla outfits - ABT

On his discord, Ousnius says "interest is pretty low". We might see Bodyslide and OS yet, but I wouldn't recommend anyone hold their breath until it happens.

Meanwhile, this new approach looks pretty cool. Entirely morph driven, so you don't need to rebuild the meshes each time. You can add add new sliders with Blender and there's a tool to propagate new sliders to vanilla outfits, or existing slidersets to modded armor.

The tool set isn't all published yet, but this looks very, very promising.

I've started playing with this mod and it really does allow a lot better character variety without a ton of effort, dependencies, or issues. I wish this mod would be encouraged more!

Sort of related, but I really liked the Ikaros Androids mod for Fallout 4, I liked the default body type for Ikaros, but hated the fact I couldn't run Wonder Body with Ikaros (for example). From the sound of things, a mod like this could make something like Ikaros a seamless reality, I assume.

If that makes sense.

From what it looks like we might not get BS/Outfit studio for Starfield.

Thing is: we might not need it. I'll explain.

Bodyslide works by creating a new body mesh, and then rebuilding all the outfits to fit that mesh.

Starfield though uses morphs to determine body and outfit shape. This is the mechanism that allows a fat character to wear fat clothes, for instance. And with the right morphs, it can also allow your character to look like a busty supermodel and the game will apply those morphs to the game

Ousnius is adding code to Bodyslide to read Starfield morph files, so it seems likely that we'll have a version that works with Starfield in due course. But there are alternatives. Look at ABT, for instance.

Sorry I never check the notifications, it's usually just discussions in mods I follow. Thanks for the explanation, I don't know how the backend of such things work since I'm just an end user. As they say Rome wasn't built in a day (But Athens was burned).
